  1. Dude just didn't make enough plays in college for my liking. He's a tweener who never really (to my mind) lived up to his full potential.
  2. This is a 5-11 roster right now.
  3. His best bet is to sit out training camp and wait for an injury to cause some team to get desperate and overpay. He's a vet who has played in multiple systems. Keep your body fresh and cash in.
  4. Hissing to the refs for a flag no doubt.
  5. He wanted to install a different offense each week and liked to wait until the last possible second to decide which play to call, all of which ensured that the ten cent headed players in offense would inevitably botch their assignments.
  6. No thanks. Honestly I'd rather lose with Tyrod than win with Alex Smith. Maybe that's just me.
  7. I'm not so sure. Top 50?
  8. Would the Bills deal Tyrod to the Browns, who reportedly are interested in him and have a ton of draft picks? If so, the Bills could grab two quality players in the top 30, one of whom would be a QB and perhaps the other being a much-needed safety, linebacker, or big-bodied WR/TE? Fine with me...
  9. That's because he takes his orders from Bannon.
  10. If they think he's a franchise QB than do it. Frankly the Cardinals might grab him at 13 if the Bills pass - if he's indeed that good. That said I haven't watched any of his tape.
  11. How are the Chargers in such cap trouble with that roster? As for this season, I don't remember Woods running with the ball in his hands outside of 2-3 plays.
  12. Meh. As BADOL says, Woods has skates for feet with the ball in his hands.
  13. I don't actually. Some dumb franchise like the Rams, Chargers or Redskins will overpay him. I could see Lynn making Woods a priority because he knows the offense and is a great run blocker. Woods would probably love to return to SoCal.
  14. They are going to release Amendola and they made a sneaky pickup in Housler.
  15. And they have cap room because Brady takes a discount. But they'd better not expect YAC.
  16. I'd keep Gragg and Felton.
  17. Well, I don't disagree with what you've said above. I do disagree with your take on Benoit, I listen to his weekly podcasts and he is definitely not a JAG, I learn something new from him every week. Though you're right he doesn't give equal attention to every team or player and can get a bit lazy. I suspect what he's talking about with Tyrod is that when TT's mechanics break down, he tends to throw back-footed rather than stepping into his throws. Though that may affect accuracy more than velocity. My issue with Tyrod is that he doesn't step up in the pocket enough, drive his front foot, and fire passes with anticipation. Many of his throws "look tentative" which is not the same as looking fluttery, but whatever.
  18. Man, I still can't stand Marrone. For whatever reason I was able to psychoanalyze that schmo on Day 1, I just nailed it. So glad he walked. Whaley just isn't very good at his job and seems to be flailing a bit which is adding to the dysfunction at OBD. Rex is a clown but he saw that much...
  19. I think we had better figure out whether 2003 Bledsoe was better than 2016 Tyrod. It's very important.
  20. Benoit is one of the best in the business but I think this highlights how difficult of a decision this really is - credible football minds disagree about what Tyrod brings to the table and whether the Bills should keep him.
  21. I told you - it's a variable label. At certain times in his career he completely destroyed weak locker rooms with his aberrant (at best) behavior (which struck me at the time as a clear display of mental illness). In more structured environments (and/or perhaps during more stable points in his life) he was fine.
  22. The HOF is a farce, it has been for a couple of decades now in pretty much all major sports. It's a marketing opportunity. I can't really care too much about this issue. Fact is, TO had episodes where he was a good teammate and there were also times where he instigated severe dysfunction in weak locker rooms. But I always attributed his behavior to mental illness and his really difficult upbringing (his father was a POS from what I recall). And there have been plenty of dudes like him in the NFL and plenty of them made the HOF - but none of them were the media spectacle that TO became (which is ironic - he probably generated more clicks for Big Media than any player of his era, and now Big Media is punishing him for some weird reason). And as for Vic & Co., the traditional media as an institution has suffered so much decline in relevance and credibility that they'll do just about anything to gain a new foothold. As they say, the smallest amount of power typically is abused to the greatest extent, or something to that effect. Yawn.
  23. When was the last time Doug Whaley was right about a QB evaluation? Honestly, can someone answer that for me?
