    Wow Foster is mental, huh? I was not aware. Between his erratic behavior and his injury, he just fell into the 20s. As for McDowell - I'm not ever going to second guess a GM for drafting skilled defensive linemen, pass rushers, or QBs with high picks. That's what high picks are for in my view.

    What about if people in Alabama decided that interracial marriage should be made illegal? What if people in Texas decided that Latinos (born here or not) needed to register as such and wear armbands? All of that ok, in your book, so long as those decisions were made at the state level?

    The right answer is probably somewhere in the middle. Saban has displayed an uncanny ability to recruit not only player talent but also coaching talent, with the latter skill more applicable to today's NFL. He would probably assemble a first-rate program. But I agree, in the NFL he'd need a QB.

    Folks tend to overthink it with QBs and RBs, not sure why. Fournette is going to get drafted high, probably by Carolina, and will dominate at AP-level for the next 4-9 years.
