  1. I'm loving Rotoworld's take: Unbelievable. This is perhaps the only thing that could have made the Bills' trade up in the 2014 draft even more disastrous. The Bills are clearly petrified of Watkins suffering another injury and guaranteeing himself a massive payday for 2018 — options years are guaranteed for injury only — but they've backed themselves into a corner if Watkins has a monster 2017, something certainly not outside the realm of possibility for a wideout who has yet to turn 24. The franchise tag costs more than the option. In a league placing an ever-increasing premium on high-end receiving talent, the Bills are playing fire with theirs. The Bills maybe shouldn't be letting someone who was a defensive coordinator just five months ago run their front office.
  2. Honestly the Buffalo Bills may not only be the worst-run organization in professional sports, they may be the worst-run private business in America that is not an airline.
  3. The local bars would love it. All seriousness, he'd be a great get.
  4. He worked as a scout! I agree. And, look at us, being all positive 'n' stuff, who ever would've thunk it?
  5. Interestingly, if McD gets to decide the roster, the Panthers might be able to deny Beane.
  6. That screen was a telegraphed play - Clemson was all over their plays and their WRs most of the time, probably because Clemson is a much better program with better athletes and coaches. Agree 100%. He will throw to covered receivers. The more I see, the more I like.
  7. His arm mostly looks fine in that video. His footwork is EXCEPTIONAL. He is patient, decisive, accurate, and tough (he took a few big hits in order to complete passes). His ball placement mostly perfect. Based on that game alone (which is a bad idea), he's the perfect type of QB to run Dennison's stretch offense, because he's mobile (enough) and excels at play-action. This dude is going to surprise some folks, I'm telling you.
  8. Michael is a complete headcase, never gonna happen.
  9. This is certainly true. I hate to root against players (unless they're on the Patriots) but if either of those guys turns out to be a stud, just... ugh.
  10. A big component of their ratings is expected draft position, for reasons I don't fully understand. But in other words, the later a QB is drafted, the less likely they'll be successful, hence a lower rating.
  11. They added the "eece" to his name after 2015.
  12. He can pick his spot - he isn't going somewhere where the structure is horizontal. He'll want to pick his HC. Same with DeCosta and probably Caserio.
  13. The Browns probably aren't going QB again with Kizer on the roster. The 49ers will find a way to get Cousins next offseason. The Jags may actually win a few games now that they have a back who can limit the amount of times Bortles has to throw. The Jets are our real competition next offseason and appear to be in full tank mode.
  14. I'm 70% here, and 30% of the view that they should've picked Mahomes or Watson at 10.
  15. If so, no wonder they want to wait to see whether he makes it through the season...
  16. I'm with you JC. Drafting "character" players to clean up the atmosphere sounds very Levy/Jauron-esque. Who is going to be the Chris Kelsay on this roster who gets wildly overpaid because he's "one of the good guys"?
  17. Pretty sure you'll come to find that Peterman can make every one of those throws. But anyhow this is a silly argument. There is a difference between functional arm strength and actual arm strength. The former is much more important and depends primarily on the lower body mechanics. Peterman has enough arm to play in the NFL now, and with better programming he could improve in that area.
  18. Brad Johnson could barely throw the 20-yard out and couldn't do it in the wind.
  19. Edwards' issues had nothing to do with his arm. His arm was fine.
  20. Peterman does not have a "weak arm."
  21. You're moving the goal posts Kelly...
