Peterman may be a moron.

This game will tell us a lot about Peterman. Too bad that in today's NFL you don't get too many chances, especially as a lower-round pick. He is 0-1 and he won't get many more. If he shows he can throw the ball through the elements in Buffalo, he's got a shot to stick.

I hope he shows that he can complete a 10-yard out without contorting his entire body. The Chargers game was terrifying and not just because of the INTs.

Putting aside the respective talents of Tyrod and McCown - the Jets offense amazes me. They can't really run the ball, but somehow they have WRs open over the middle on 9-12 yard slants on EVERY SINGLE PLAY. How do they do this? Scientists need to study how it's possible. But that is basically their entire offense - McCown drops back, plants, and fires it over the middle for a completion on a slant pattern.

Remind me, the Rooney rule doesn’t apply to GM hires? Also they’d better have a structure in place. This guy was known in KC as disorganized.

Look, that's on you at this point. Maybe you've hit your ceiling as a poster. You're capable of doing things that no other poster can do, yet you struggle with the most basic posting/comprehension. At this point perhaps a change of scenery might be best.

It's unbelievable around here. Go back and look at the trade-day threads regarding Sammy and Matthews - so many folks around here were thrilled to see Watkins go, calling him soft and injury-prone. Many of those same posters were referring to Jordan Matthews as a tough-as-nails "number one" receiver. Where are those posters now? Glad you asked - many of them are commenting in this thread...

Rico is horrible at his job and McD is just stupid enough to refuse to fire him.

The owners don't care about player safety and they're ostriches when it comes to understanding the real long-term threat to viewership that the league is facing. The union is too dumb to cobble together a coherent approach to player discipline and safety. And frankly, society as a whole in 2017 has completely lost its moral underpinnings. The Boston announcers cheered Gronk's actions in realtime. That doesn't seem the least bit out of place with what has been going on everywhere. People have been so lied to, and so broke, for so many years, that they've basically thrown ethics and decency out the window. Nothing surprises me anymore.
