  1. TSW has gotten weird lately.
  2. Disagree that it was a talented defense.
  3. Just curious why you say that? The two best corners in the league last year (Slay and Rhodes) are in that division.
  4. Sign Teddy Bridgewater. Draft Mayfield. Set at QB until 2030.
  5. Sullivan was ahead of his time when it comes to trolling.
  6. No I don’t think that’s right. Plus, Kelly’s offense did work in Philly...
  7. This. I hate the “anyone but” culture that has infected this society. Think harder, people!
  8. Promoting Castillo to OC would get McD fired by the end of next season if not sooner. It would be that dumb. Gosh imagine if they could hire Bevell and swing a trade for Doug Baldwin. The offense would finally have some personality.
  9. It kind of is. The NFL probably needs to move away from complex systems that rely on veteran QBs and depth along the offense. College has adapted to an easier system that features athletic QBs and can accommodate constant roster cycling.
  10. I think it’s far more likely that Dennison never gets another chance...
  11. It makes me nervous how convinced the fans are that OBD intends to use an early pick on a QB this year. What is the basis for that assumption?
  12. Peterman had as many INTs in four plays as Tyrod did the whole game, against the league’s nastiest secondary.
  13. Why would you think Dennison was “the NFL’s best chance” to design an offense around Tyrod? Dennison is literally one of the least imaginative, most inflexible, tone deaf OC’s the NFL has ever seen.
  14. Arizona should bring in Tyrod and do the same thing. With that defense and David Johnson, they’d be really exciting to watch. And good for Carroll thinking outside the box - kinda the opposite of McD hiring Dennison to fit a traditional timing offense to Tyrod...
  15. I love you man, but you cray cray.
  16. I would be ok with that, though I’m still not convinced they’re planning to draft a QB. I could see this regime talking themselves into passing on a QB and focusing on other parts of the roster to build around an Alex Smith. My biggest issue with Alex Smith is that he runs a horizontal offense. He works the 5-7 yard area better than any QB in the league but he also demonstrates a maddening unwillingness to throw it past the sticks on 3rd down. He needs WRs who can separate and get YAC. We have zero of those... I really don’t see the fit. And if Shula is the OC it’s a horrible match. Good luck running “seven-step drop and chuck it” with Alex Smith as your QB.
  17. Some of that is on Wilson, who became addicted to freelancing. Much of that is on the offensive line, which struggled so badly in pass protection that it dramatically limited the types of plays they could run, and forced Wilson to abandon the playcall time and time again.
  18. John just take back your statement that Peterman would’ve given us a better chance to win the Jags game and I suspect we’ll all be good.
  19. When Woods left I said here over and over again that we’d feel his loss most in the running game. I was right. Run blocking is an underrated part of what receivers do but on a run-first team, I find it shocking that McBeane hasn’t prioritized it more.
  20. Does it bug you at all that multiple coaches have tried to replace him?
  21. My comment actually was referring to his lackluster run blocking. He just stood there.
