  1. We need to bring back "pwned" for this thread...
  2. Interesting. I've been in a work environment where there was The Guy and everyone else, and everyone else would fret constantly about whether there was any kind of succession plan or whether The Guy was just going to turn off the lights and close up shop one day. Ultimately I chose to leave because I just wasn't convinced there would ever be any passing of the torch. BB is known for NOT being a mentor. I wonder if McDaniels' change of heart was indeed (as linked/suggested above) based upon BB finally agreeing to mentor him and pass down his wisdom, even if Kraft wouldn't go all the way to promising McDaniels that he'll get the job when BB retires. If that's how it all went down I kind of get it and can somewhat relate to it on a personal level, even though the way it went down was abysmal. Frankly it's as much on BB as it is on McDaniels if that's the case.
  3. Frazier is a good DC but would be a very uninspired HC choice for the Colts. And they'd need to hire a strong OC because he would delegate that entire aspect of coaching. So they may as well just give the job to an offensive-minded up-and-comer. Frankly, Daboll would be a better hire for them at this point...
  4. Agents rely heavily on credibility - this will hurt Lamonte. It will hurt the Colts. It will hurt the already-hired assistant coaches and their families. But McDaniels doesn't care about those people, he only cares about himself. He's a POS, a Lane Kiffin clone. Karma is a b-----, watch out bud.
  5. The Colts might have legal recourse against Kraft. Tortious interference with a prospective contract is a real claim and if the motivation was spite/revenge (as opposed to legitimate business interests), it might have legs... the League might need to step in here. This is really bad behavior.
  6. There are right and wrong ways to act in life. It’s not just about winning or looking out for yourself.
  7. Trade McDermott to the Colts for the #3 pick I am dead serious.
  8. Self-driving cars need to hurry up and get here. Teenagers crash while texting all of the time too. Humans just aren’t capable of not killing themselves if you give them high-powered machinery.
  9. Im not gonna die on this hill but I didn’t see terrible fundamentals outta those guys.
  10. But was it? Our pass blocking had to account for the QB holding the ball longer than any other passer in the league, and they still did a decent enough job. I'm just not sure Castillo was as bad as he's made out to be on TSW.
  11. Wrt Castillo, again, did he do that bad of a job, really? He had a 3rd round rookie playing well at LT. Ducasse played probably as good as he ever did in his career. Mills' mistakes were limited to 2-3 per game. I'm not sure you can blame Castillo for the running game decline - that's what happens when you get rid of all of your WR talent.
  12. I’ve been saying for years - the Bills should stop waiting for luck to find them...
  13. Has anybody mentioned a fivehead joke yet? What a weird, weird thing to get fired up about.
  14. KC and Houston each traded up for a QB last year and neither regret doing so. The Bills need to stop playing checkers.
  15. He did a decent job this year considering what they were trotting out there at the DT spots. You know what? Here is a hot take, Castillo did a decent job too. He had a third round rookie playing well at LT, he had Ducasse playing serviceably at RG, and Mills flatlined at 2-3 terrible plays per game. And when you consider that Tyrod holds the ball longer than any QB in the league, keeping him upright was no small feat.
  16. More like Doug Baldwin.
  17. Union politics + the Buffalo Bills media team = today
  18. He should've been retained as a bridge QB, but they needlessly extended and overpaid him (sound familiar) and then had to cut bait when he couldn't live up to his contract. The Bills love to overpay guys (or overcommit draft picks) and then get buyer's remorse.
  19. You just described Drew Brees to a tee... he ran a spread at Purdue, he's short, he's a hot head (crazy family issues), etc. Not a coincidence that the Saints are reportedly interested in Mayfield...
  20. He has a very long windup, it really freaks me out.
  21. His throws are horrible...
