  1. This is my view. He has elite measurables - he does not play at an elite level. He runs soft and his vision is suspect. It would be a tremendous waste of draft resources to pick him at 2 when you factor in the opportunity cost of passing on the Bills’ trade package.
  2. No one - NO ONE - is as clueless under "live fire" as Todd Bowles.
  3. He is the worst sideline coach in the NFL.
  4. This has been a thing with Hue since his days in Oakland. He's a talker and a BS artist.
  5. Todd Bowles is hanging by a thread, make no mistake.
  6. That makes sense, I mean, they don't want to get leapfrogged at 1...
  7. Good stuff. Waiting to see which clown copies the entire post in the response.
  8. Anyone remember the show Man versus Beast? There was a legendary segment where a track athlete was racing a zebra, and Carl Lewis was the commentator. They had Carl Lewis break down his "keys to the race" for each participant, and one of Carl Lewis's "keys to the race" for the zebra to win was that the zebra must "realize it's a race."
  9. I'm caught up but still somewhat indifferent - but without Winkler it's not even worth watching. He's KILLING it on that show (just like he did in Arrested Development).
  10. Is anyone else watching "Barry" on HBO? Winkler is stealing the show.
  11. Come on this is kind of awesome.
  12. That's my thought. Seems like worst-case scenario - giving up a bunch of picks to get the last of "The Four QBs" as opposed to the one they want. Better off staying put and taking Lamar Jackson, at that point.
  13. And you may be right. Certainly you're right that he's not the athlete Wilson is and he doesn't have Favre's arm (tho his arm seems stronger than Garcia's was). But as I said, I've never seen someone who can throw the ball so accurately downfield while moving. Does that trait alone guarantee success? Definitely not. But I think that trait, coupled with his high processing speed (his analytic test scores suggest some of Cossell's analysis is misplaced) and his desire to be the best will vault him to stardom. Then again, I am no expert evaluator. I just go by my own eyes - I saw Mayfield destroy good defenses over and over again, it looked almost effortless, and defenses who tried to move him out of the pocket paid dearly for it. 14. It is a good line. Maybe I’m totally missing it with Baker but I see an assassin when he’s on the run, like Russell Wilson and maybe Brett Favre. He keeps his eyes downfield while moving and is dead-accurate throwing on the run. Maybe folks are right that he’ll live and die by whether he can work the pocket like Brees but I’m not convinced it’s a must in today’s NFL. Offenses are changing.
  15. I have never been as all-in on a prospect as I am with Mayfield - I am completely convinced he’s bound for a hall of fame career - he reminds me so much of Favre. Darnold may be a good as well, but I just can’t get excited for drafting any of these other guys with Baker an option. And the thought of him ending up in the division is just too much...
  16. So the Broncos would waste the 5th pick on a QB who is worse than their backup?
  17. Correct. He is SO ACCURATE - no QB in this class hits receivers in stride the way Darnold does.
  18. FWIW Sean Payton said Darnold is the QB prospect most likely to become a franchise QB.
  19. I’m stressed. This is stressful.
  20. Why go to those lengths to lie if you have the top pick?
  21. Really? To me they couldn't be more different. Stafford is all arm - he seems to lack a feel for the game and game situations. Rarely comes up big with the game on the line. Darnold has bad mechanics but, despite that, his ball placement is the best in this class. And he's a natural leader, which Stafford really isn't.
  22. He should set his sights on getting off the ball on the snap. Baby steps.
  23. He's right though. The Bills needed a franchise QB and TRADED DOWN for Manuel because they didn't think he was worth a top-ten pick. Think about that for a second. It's totally different than trading assets to move UP for your guy.
