I don't think McD loses the locker room (yet). Peterman played well in the preseason and he's technically a "veteran" as compared to Allen. McD probably did right by not just handing the rookie the job. Benching Peterman after Baltimore will help McD in the locker room, not hurt him, because it shows the team that McD is (in theory) trying to win games and put the team in position to be successful. McD might've lost the locker room if he started Peterman this week. The owner's box is a different story - if Allen gets hurt because of the lack of protection around him, McBeane have some 'splainin' to do. And I still can't believe the Bills took a bad 2018 cap situation and made it worse by needlessly taking a $3.5M flier on Corey Coleman for a two-week tryout, only to cut him loose (despite lack of talent at the WR position) and now they're effectively paying him to play for the key division rival... if I were Terry I'd be FUMING.

You should do it.

Seriously though - if you don't understand when to use "an" instead of "a," you lose your right to call anyone else an idiot... this is part of the FIRST GRADE curriculum.

I would love to see John Miller to block someone. That's my ask. -
Zay Jones has to tell KB where to line up?

Maybe he'll be a good OC some day. Seems like a bright, accountable dude. He also has some version of The Yips where he utterly breaks under live fire... he's ready-made for a desk job. Should never be put in the foxhole again and the Bills may need to hire a sports psychologist to help them evaluate players better...

DT Du’Vonta Lampkin Visits

That's exactly what's taking him so long. I have no doubt McD huddled with Beane and probably the Pegulas on the eve of the season, before trading McCarron and naming Peterman the starter, and convinced them that it was a good move for a variety of reason - Peterman had a solid preseason, Allen wasn't ready, the line was still gelling, the opening schedule is brutal and it would be damaging to Allen's career to put him in so quickly. Now if he goes back to them to wave the white flag so quickly, he loses face big time. He needs to pretend he's attending to some kind of deliberative process so that he doesn't look like a total flake. It's that simple. -

You are sort of describing Big Ben's first year offense. Makes sense to me. -

Correct. He doesn't even TRY to diagnose the play post-snap - it's like it doesn't matter to him what the defense is doing AT ALL. He decides pre-snap where to throw it and throws it, regardless of whatever else is going on. It's maddening and I don't understand how the coaches still don't see this - some of us noticed it last year. -
This says it all...wide the hell open

Peterman decides where he's going with the ball before the snap - and nothing is going to change his mind, NOTHING. Also, John Miller is an abortion at RG. -

The Bills had 11 players on both offense and defense? That's news to me. Glad someone looked at the film and counted. -
I don't think it's crazy to assume that part of this signing is the Putin strategy of sewing (additional) dysfunction in a rival's front office. BB knows that the Pegulas are relative simpletons who will turn the screws on their inexperienced GM for shelling out $3.5M for a two-week tryout, only to cut bait and let the division rivals pick him up. BB loves beating the Bills over the head with their own, old shoe. I'm convinced that the Gilleslee signing was palatable to BB because he knew that, even if TD Mike didn't work out for the Pats' offense, he was thwarting the Bills' plans. The Coleman experiment is an embarrassment for Beane who is in over his head and has not shown that he has any real strategy or understanding of how to build a roster or manage his bosses' money. Those bosses surely have noticed by now.

Which singular player were you most disappointed with?

The word "singular" actually means "exceptional," FYI.
