  1. This is exactly what I worried/mused about upthread - Ritchie's story is looking like it isn't going to end well. Really hope he gets help.
  2. Before the protests you'd actually watch the anthem?
  3. This is an example of where not having an established, winning program comes back to bite us in multiple ways. WRT Ritchie, I don't see it ending well for him - I feel like we'll be watching a "30 for 30" in five or ten years profiling the Martin incident and the wrecked lives of Martin, Ritchie and possibly Pouncey in their post-NFL careers - just a bad combination of teammates, wrong place, wrong time, a bunch of unstable maniacs.
  4. Prediction: Peterman doesn’t make the final 53.
  5. Peterman is fighting against The Turk, not Allen or McCarren...
  6. This is my concern. And he lacks the mental makeup to overcome his limited talent - he's a soft clown. He's got some Maybin to him.
  7. Maybe the rest of us should follow suit.
  8. You're not necessarily wrong but you're far too simplistic about it. They took a chance and admitted it was a mistake and fixed it... they weren't sure what Peterman would be when the bullets started flying. They found out. They also didn't design a smart gameplan for him and the OC was appropriately fired as a result.
  9. This is where you're wrong - we're at the point in the offseason when the blind optimism has started to reach a fever pitch... we're a Superbowl contender until the third week of September when reality starts to set in, and more and more posters start pretending they've understood all along that this wasn't a one-year fix. But now? In May? Forget about it. Anyhow wrt receivers, they might try to get lucky with someone like Demaryius Thomas being a late cut/add. Otherwise it's a BRUTAL group.
  10. https://www.si.com/nfl "When the Jets dealt up to the No. 3 spot in the draft in March, they’d identified three quarterbacks—Darnold, Mayfield, and UCLA’s Josh Rosen—they were good with."
  11. I agree - I don't buy (2). I've heard it just like we all have, and it sounds like B.S. to me. Daboll may have built a PLAN for Josh Allen but not an offense. If you're building an offense for Josh Allen you add some vertical threats and three or four 6'6'' WRs and TEs (established, uninjured ones).
  12. No doubt Daboll is loading up on slot WRs to add formation flexibility similar to what NE does. Frankly I don't see where a guy like Zay fits into that regime and it wouldn't shock me if he's dealt for a 5th or 6th in August. If he does manage to stick around for the final 53 and gets out-produced this season by Mr. Almost Irrelevant, he'll be cut outright after 2018 concludes.
  13. Bring me the head of Tony Garcia and a cup of hot fat.
  14. What happened to you brah? You've become such a Luddite, and you seem proud of it - "I never 'erd of 'em, he sucks!" Just because you're out of the loop doesn't mean these guys don't know what they're talking about.
  15. This is Daboll's chance to make himself a head coach candidate - if he can show the ability to develop a raw but talented young QB prospect, he'll start getting looks.
  16. Not even sure what you're fired up about. In no way am I criticizing Jim Kelly. Egads people. (And even if I was, which I wasn't - this is a football team, it's entertainment, get a life.)
  17. First practice and they've got him taking pictures with Jimbo???? Yikes.
  18. Not an elite pass rusher by any means but might be a guy with a knack for making the big play at the right time.
