Neither defense can keep up with the speed they’re facing and it’s leading to a flag-fest, which is unfortunate for the fans. Tyrek Hill can get open with a slight hesitation at the LOS - it is truly a sight. Thats what I mean - I’ve never seen anything like that. Play was over as soon as he stutter stepped.

They need to stop the run (Fournette is back and was running hard during the first half yesterday) and, unlike last January, bottle Bortles and don't let him scramble for first downs. Do that and they should be in decent position to win. Not gonna be easy for Jax to prepare for this one - Allen will be back, along with three new speed elements (Thompson, McKenzie, Foster) and better interior line play than what they put on film during the first half of the season.

This is ridiculous - most of the guys on your list are great players. Your argument is basically, "drafting a lineman high won't win you a SB." That's a weak argument.

Where has it gotten them? Did you see them running the ball down the Patriots’ throats a couple weeks ago? The Titans absolutely do not regret drafting Conklin to pair with Lewan. They are tough and nasty up front.

Honestly I’ve been thinking for awhile now that given the state of their salary cap and what’s available, they may as well load up on youth and speed and the expense of experience or height. Pressure the defense to cover a bunch of fast guys.

He seemed to be running lazy routes on Sunday but I'm surprised they didn't keep him around longer - they seem to have zero patience or player development interest.

Not only did he completely clear waivers, he sailed a full ten yards above the waiver wire and landed on Did Not Report/Other.

What amazes me is how formidable their front seven looked against us in the preseason - remember? I can't fathom how they're giving up so much yardage.

They need three new starters. The issue with Ducasse wasn't just his lack of push - he has a penchant for taking his own guys out of the play on running plays. I can't count how many times I saw him barreling into Bodine or Miller, blowing up the running play before it even started. He is a disgrace. Miller is replacement-level and seems to have lost some mobility - honestly he seems out of shape to me. And Mills is good for 2-5 negative plays per game, which is just too many. Finally, if they can upgrade the pivot they should do it - they've somehow gotten by with Bodine for most of the year but he's not the long-term answer. He's a solid enough backup but that's it. They need 3 athletic, intelligent linemen - give me three more Dawkins or Tellers and I'll be good. Look what the Colts were able to do rebuilding their line this year - it makes a huge difference between winning and losing.
