Raiders now Shopping Derek Carr (?)

I wonder if the Dolphins would be interested. Rumor has it they're done with Tannehill. -

Unreal that franchise. If they don’t trade him they’ve totally killed whatever confidence he had left. -
Bills vs. Texans All-22 Coaches Film Reviews
Coach Tuesday replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Still waiting for a breakdown of Allen's last play - the play right after he got injured. He threw in the dirt towards Zay, and was clearly hobbled by that point. But from my non-All 22 vantage point, Zay had a ton of room ahead of him and might have scored on the play, it would've been pretty epic. Anyone have it? -

"beclowning" - EPIC word. -
There is no "almost" about it. Negligence is defined as the failure to adhere to the industry standard of care. As I've said elsewhere, the Bills constantly think they're smarter than everyone else - this goes back multiple regimes and multiple decades. And EVERY TIME they try to outsmart the rest of the league, they fail miserably - it blows up in their faces in embarrassing fashion. The QB situation in 2018 is no different (though it is remarkably similar to the Tuel/EJ fiasco). We have negligent owners hiring negligent GMs and coaches, and they're trying to sell us that this was the plan all along. It's a disgrace.

I mean, can we all step back for a minute and take in the sheer LUNACY of what is now happening? The Bills’ PR machine today was squirting out nuggets like it is a “blessing in disguise” for Allen to have a “front row seat” to watch DEREK ANDERSON. Are you effing kidding me? It is in NO WAY a blessing to have the highly-invested QB suffer a potentially career-altering injury - which was completely predictable (in fact, I predicted it three weeks ago here), nor will it help his development to sit and watch (from the “front row,” no less) a guy who is known for stat lines like 3-17 for 49 yards. Watching Derek Anderson play produces thoughts of suicide, it doesn’t help young QBs develop.

John, I don’t think you’re right about the soundness of the McBeane Khmer Rouge approach to the roster - but even if you are, I’m quite certain the owners didn’t sign up for it. You make it sound like the team is acting in concert pursuant to a settled script and that’s really where I think you go off the rails. There is simply NO WAY that the Pegulas thought they were stomaching a 4-5 year gut reno. McDermott acts like he’s at the helm of some cushy college program where he’s been assured enough time to wait for his first recruiting class to blossom into seniors and IMHO he is SORELY mistaken about that. Again, I have been saying this since August - many of us have - these are reactive owners who hate being embarrassed and are patient until all of a sudden they aren’t and I predict that the patience will run out sometime over the next two weeks when Anderson’s custard melts all over the field. It’s going to be awful football to watch, the fans are going to lose it and the owners are going to take notice and react. How what will all manifest itself vis-a-vis Pol Pot McBean remains to be seen but we will see cracks in the OBD facade, I can almost guarantee it.

Bills in White on White vs. the Colts

Sadly I’d have to agree with that. -
Bills in White on White vs. the Colts

It's too bad Roddy White is not on the Colts. Because then, if Tre White was covering him on Sunday, it would be "White on White on White on White." -

The ownership has no respect for us
Coach Tuesday replied to Rebel101's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It’s not that they don’t care, or don’t respect the fans. They’re trying to deliver a good product - anyone can see that. They just have no idea what they’re doing. They’re TERRIBLE sports owners from a service delivery standpoint. They hire poorly. They don’t know what to look for in their hires other than, for whatever reason, they have a bias against experienced GMs. They’ve hired/retained four first-time GMs (Murray, Botterill, Whaley, Beane) and the results have been atrocious - yet they keep at it. The closest they’ve come to bringing in an experienced outsider was LaFontaine and that ended quickly in disaster when he butted heads with the Pegula Sports “Deep Staters.” It needs to happen ASAP with the Bills - the thought of Brandon Beane and his crank team of personnel evaluators pissing away $80M in cap room next offseason makes me physically ill... it will set the franchise back another five years easy... those decisions need to be vetted by an Acorsi or Wolf type. -
Holy hell the Bills screwed this up. All of it - shedding talent, waiting until 2018 to draft a QB, trading all of those picks for said QB, surrounding him with no talent and a weak scheme, failing to provide him with a competent OC, QB coach or veteran backup, and now getting him seriously injured. This is an abject, unqualified disaster.

Woods, Watkins, Hogan and Goodwin
Coach Tuesday replied to RPbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't think there's any question at this point that the Pegulas are in way over their heads and remain tone deaf about it. They need to hire an experienced football consultant ASAP to vet all personnel decisions. They have presided over the complete destruction of the roster. There was no need for it - and the product is TERRIBLE. -
McDermott hangs up on Schopp and Bulldog
Coach Tuesday replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
McDermott may already be unraveling. I don’t see him being allowed to hire a second GM or a third OC. He’s in serious hot water now that the prized QB predictably got hurt and the backup situation was bungled. -
Why Derek Anderson should start the rest of the season...
Coach Tuesday replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agree and have been saying it for a few weeks. Given the abysmal level of talent on offense, the plan should be to shelve Allen and let some middling vet take the beating. But honestly, this is a disgrace to the fanbase, all of it. -
Peterman Could Play in Indy

If this happens, McDermott will be fired at season’s end. -
I believe the pass to Zay you’re referring to was the play after Allen got injured. First, I was shocked Daboll (who is a bona fide idiot) called a pass play when it was clear Allen had hurt his arm. Second, Zay was not only open, he would’ve probably scored if Allen wasn’t too banged up to get him the ball. It’s a shame how these things work - if Allen hadn’t gotten banged up the previous play, he probably completes that pass FOR THE WIN. Instead... well, you all know what happened. Waiting for the All-22 to confirm what I saw on that play. Would’ve been epic.
