They simply do not have athletic enough linemen to run basic NFL plays on offense. That’s the issue on offense today. And on defense, Edmunds should have been redshirted this year because he’s just not ready for the Mike.
The fans really deserve better than this product. At least the QB can play. The rest of these guys are losers and the GM is a fraud for assembling a team this poor.
This is what happens when a soft bunch of losers spends their bi-week eating and horsing around instead of focusing on their jobs. This roster needs another overhaul.
That may be right - but it's also the EASIEST thing for a person/coach to correct/change. Coughlin did it and won Super Bowls. I would not be surprised to see Harbaugh manning the Jets' sideline next season and I won't be happy about it. Yes his team laid an egg yesterday against OSU but they were clearly outclassed by the OSU athletes on both sides of the field, and it put into perspective how impressive it is that UofM has the record they do this year - they're not that talented (for recruiting-related reasons, as BADOL points out). Harbaugh's teams are usually smart and prepared and, just as important, physical at the LOS. I'd never count the guy out. If he can become less of a jerk he has the potential to win Lombardis - and possibly even if he can't.
I've changed my thinking on this lately. I think edge rushers are over-valued now relative to their importance. Interior rushers are more important given the spread passing concepts that dominate today's game. I'd focus on interior defensive line (there are some really good prospects coming out) AND interior offensive line (for the same reason, in reverse). I'd like another CB and a RB. I'd try to build the WR and TE groups through free agency.
Meanwhile, State Media, er, Fox News, has virtually no coverage of Trump's amoral, Putinesque defense of Saudi Arabia.
Not that it will deter any of you alt-right clowns from eating FN with a spoon every day.
He seems worse this year - constantly hobbled and not able or willing to fight for the few targets he gets - and has a look on his face like his body is in steep decline and he can’t understand it - it’s called aging, some athletes fall off a cliff early, he seems shot to me. Could be wrong.
Leave it to the NFL to take the best non-playoff matchup in years and turn it into a flag fest - they even assembled an “all star” officiating crew specifically for this game...
Neither defense can keep up with the speed they’re facing and it’s leading to a flag-fest, which is unfortunate for the fans.
Tyrek Hill can get open with a slight hesitation at the LOS - it is truly a sight.
Thats what I mean - I’ve never seen anything like that. Play was over as soon as he stutter stepped.
