That's how I see it - Teller needs an offseason in the weight room working on his lower body and he still needs to refine his technique as well - that play is mostly well-blocked but Teller starts pinwheeling around instead of driving his man back and Murphy runs right instead of left...

He was really bad today. Robbie Anderson ate him alive. -

The coaching is highly concerning - I don’t understand how anyone could see that differently. -

OK. I'll Say It-Allen will be best Bills QB ever

I am pretty sure I didn't predict that the Bills would go 2-14 as a result of cutting Jonathan Williams. I drink sometimes, so maybe you can show it to me. And at least we finally approached a semi-football take out of you after what, 10 years here? As for the OP, it's far too early to predict something like that. But this is America, where certain people need a very specific type of lie told to them daily in order to survive. -

And my "Zay take" was that he was the worst starter in the NFL - which, at the time, he objectively was. -

Is it? Did I do that? Do you understand how apostrophes work? But did I do that? Do you have evidence of said "friend"? I don't even understand what you mean, honestly. But if you're saying that I predicted that the unnecessary dismantling of the Bills' WR group and offense generally would lead to a poor record, well, let's hope the OP is as prescient as I was. -

Outrageous. Just as bad as a "Josh Allen is a Bust" thread. And folks with these kinds of takes never come back to defend them, ever. They just crawl back into the same butt crevice of the internet from whence they came, and disappear. EDIT: is it too early to start comparing him to Christ? -
You could tell he wasn’t right - he was tackling without his arms for the past month - probably should’ve shut him down earlier.

The Rams tried "aggressively" to re-sign him dude. -

He’s playing very well and he’d instantly be the best receiver on the Bills and his skill set is perfect for Josh Allen. Jason Peters, Sammy Watkins - Bills fans never tire of misevaluating players who ask to be paid. -

It's not a great look for Beane but it had to be done. He's now traded picks and paid $$ to two former first-round receivers who have contributed nothing (Benjamin and Coleman), and traded away a first-round receiver who continues to perform at a high level. No, we do not need to re-hash that here. But Beane is up against it now to prove he can evaluate talent on offense. Can't keep swinging and missing. Wrt "why now," I don't think it's just that they're out of the playoffs. I think it's also about leadership and team chemistry. Allen is making progress as a player and a leader and this move, in part, removes obstacles to his continued ascension as a leader. It also sends a message that they're not tolerating that kind of attitude any longer (and as bad as it was all season, it was noticeably worse on Sunday - on Zay Jones' second TD, Benjamin is literally jogging a clear-out route ahead of Jones - never seen that before and I am not convinced it was the proper route). Finally, gotta hand it to Benjamin - one of the worst contract year performances I've ever witnessed. Can't really say it's about $$ for him because he cost himself millions this season. He clearly doesn't love the game. -
Is Josh Allen faster than Tyrod Taylor???

Julio Jones and the 2019 Bills

What you are incorrectly calling “conservative” is actually what prudence forces teams do when they are paying an elite QB big money. Teams like the Bills who have a QB on a rookie deal can afford to be more aggressive elsewhere. And in any event I don’t think you’re right about their mentality. They went after Mack. They must know that adding a top tier receiver will help Josh’s development - they need to protect the investment they’ve made in him - beefing up the interior line, adding a young versatile running back, maybe a tight end, and yes, a real actual live-bodied pro receiver - these are just things need to be done and I expect Beane to do them. As for your list of expiring contracts - that is one motley bunch - they had better not use up a sizeable portion of their cap room on that group. And before that, Brandon Cooks. And before him, the Cowboys did it again with Roy Williams. And there was Percy Harvin going to the Seahawks for a first. I know we’re in a post-truth society now but please, try to fact-check just a little... -
Keeping Nick O’Leary or benching Clay
Coach Tuesday replied to Joeziehmer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
One of the hardest things to predict is when an athlete’s skills are going to fall off due to age and wear and tear. The Patriots are so good at it - it’s an underrated skill. Clay’s body is just shot - he can’t run anymore. They didn’t see it coming. -

Amazing to me that Atlanta is so soft and uncompetitive so many weeks.
