  1. By your “logic” Cooks sucks because the Patriots were willing to trade him. Stop being so dense. From the horse’s mouth. Sammy was Plan A.
  2. They valued Cooks more. That doesn’t mean they “let Sammy go” because he “sucked.” You people bad argue.
  3. I know it was widely reported that the Rams aggressively tried to keep him and multiple teams tried to get him and the Chiefs gave him a monster contract. Nevertheless your little sidecar Teef is opining that the Rams “let him go” because he underperformed. It’s an incredibly weak take. I like you better as “The Funny Gugny.”
  4. Maybe they wanted injury protections and the Chiefs were more flexible? Maybe they didn’t want to commit the $30 MILLION guaranteed that the Chiefs ponied up? The Rams (and other teams, including I believe the Cowboys) also were bidders.
  5. Sure it's possible - but since there is no objective evidence of it, it sure makes it hard to change minds... (not that Americans are persuaded by evidence that disagrees with their view of the world - they simply disregard it as "fake news").
  6. We gonna hit 100 pages on this? I guess this is what happens when a respected local writer offers "high praise" for a yet-unproven regime during a critical offseason.
  7. You have two of the best offensive programs in the NFL in a bidding war over his services, with the Chiefs willing to pay him a huge contract just to be their #2. The ONLY legitimate gripe about Sammy is his injury history. If he can't stay healthy this year, he's probably toast. If he can, I predict he's going to put up monster numbers and the Anti-Vaxxers like you will be scarcely heard from.
  8. The Rams made an aggressive attempt to keep Watkins. That’s a “fact” for you. Comparing Watkins (who was the #2 in KC) to Cooks (the #1 in LA) doesn’t really do much for me. Let’s see how well these posts age this season with Hill likely out and Watkins primed to be featured.
  9. As I’ve said here before, Beane is more likely to be fired than McD, who has shown both adaptability and an impressive willingness to stick a dagger in the back of his acolytes when they start to make him look bad. If guys like Zay, Oliver and Ford faceplant this year and the free agent recruits on offense don’t perform, I could see McD making a power play a la Bill O’Brien and wrestling control of personnel (remember, McD was a scout before he was a coach).
  10. Firing is highly unlikely in 2019/2020 offseason unless something happens that embarrasses the owners, and/or they’re lied to about something significant. That seems to be what drives their decisions more than anything else.
  11. She definitely wants to speak to the manager.
  12. I called for Whaley’s firing in the Shaq Lawson pick thread. Should’ve been done right after that draft.
  13. I recall that. Ford has looked flat-footed during OTAs. Could be just a learning curve/conditioning thing, or he could actually be flat-footed.
  14. So basically the Texans decided they’d rather have no GM at all than continue to employ Gaine.
  15. Just curious, do you happen to be an Anti-Vaxxer?
  16. Correct. Ford has had a slow start (or suffers from slow starts off the snap) so far this spring. Lots of time to turn it around but it wouldn’t shock me if he doesn’t begin the season as a starter.
  17. Watson has got some really suspect pocket awareness.
  18. Williams was also what, a #4 receiver in that offense, while Zay was effectively a #1 or 2?
  19. Your parents let you bail because of the rain? That's great.
