Snap Counts vs Titans
Coach Tuesday replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They were double and triple covering Beaz on third downs when he was in there. -
Shaq Lawson - maybe a keeper?

Star had a horrible missed tackle yesterday - for his contract, and with his snaps, that’s a serious problem. -
Status of AFC: Should Bills Go All In For 2019?
Coach Tuesday replied to jwhit34's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Which is why, if a big-bodied WR or, preferably, a stud TE became available, I'd make that move NOW. Allen is right on the cusp - but you can tell that he's chasing a bit, in part because he feels he needs to win games himself, in part because he doesn't have someone he can rely on to get open on every single play. (Side note, Beasley, who is the closest thing to a security blanket, was double- and triple-covered on third downs yesterday.) The tight ends on the roster have taken turns dropping critical passes all season, including Knox whom I love but who looks to be a year away from being a consistent contributor. Go get him a Kyle Rudolph type and watch him relax a bit, then you'll see growth. -
If the Bills keep playing this well, I'd expect Daboll's name to come up in their HC search this offseason - Belichick coaching tree, has worked with raw rookie QBs, and is the type of candidate that the Skins can actually get, i.e., he's not a big name and may be desperate enough to take that job.

Injury updates - Morse, Milano, Murphy, Ford

Milano is the one I'm most worried about - any updates?? -
Revisiting Beane's most subtly brilliant move as GM
Coach Tuesday replied to cage's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So not to get too technical but you're highlighting an issue involving college scouting of offense, which remains a concern under Beane. Their pro personnel side has been much better, especially over the last year or so. For whatever reason they have a tough time evaluating college prospects on offense, although if they end up hitting on Allen (arrow pointing up) it will weigh significantly and perhaps definitively in the "plus" column, obviously. -

Daboll Monday Presser
Coach Tuesday replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Andy Benoit's take Daboll, a former tight ends coach, has a strong working knowledge of this sort of passing game, and the Bills this season have indeed shown some creativity with dropbacks out of base personnel (including spreading out into empty formations, which is another way to clarify the coverage for the QB). It’s a fine line to walk, though. Buffalo’s offense ultimately hinges on the success of its ground game; incomplete passes on first down can quickly derail a ground game. And Allen, gifted a fastball thrower as he is, does not deliver with stable accuracy. Like Cam Newton, he is liable to simply miss on a half-dozen throws each game. This cannot be coached out of a guy, it can only be coached around. -
Not surprised to hear that Younghoe was on the street...

https://www.footballoutsiders.com/film-room/2019/film-room-buffalo-defense The Bills defense played winning football on Sunday. Tom Brady was held to a completion rate of 50% or worse for just the 21st time in 271 career starts, and the first time since 2017. The Patriots offense earned just 11 first downs after never earning fewer than 21 in the previous three weeks; they converted on just 5-of-18 (27.8%) third downs after converting 47.5% of the time in the first three games. New England also finished with by far their worst single-game offensive DVOA rating (-43.4%) of the year, having never dipped below 11.8% previously (subscription required). New England scored one offensive touchdown, with their other touchdown being a special teams score. (EDIT: take a look at the violence with which Edmunds attacks the hole and the running back blocker in the second clip, and look what Milano does to throw the receiver off the route in the next clip.)

Week 5: Bills (+2.5) at Titans
Coach Tuesday replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He's an odd player - you're right that he doesn't break tackles in the backfield too often and seems to trip over his own feet at times - but he hits the hole hard and once he gets into the second level he's tough to bring down at that point. -
Week 5: Bills (+2.5) at Titans
Coach Tuesday replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No arm tackling this weekend - the Titans are the most physical offense we’ve faced this year and Henry is a real power back. Need to get over the New England hangover ASAP and be ready for a physical game.
