Uh oh...

That seems a bit unfair to me - it has been drilled into Allen's head repeatedly this season NOT to take unnecessary chances or sacks when inside field goal range. While he's rolling out he seems possible bracket/hi-low coverage on McK and it seems to me he's waiting to make sure the two defenders aren't going to be in a position to cause a turnover. I've got no issue with that play.

Confirms what I saw with my own eyes re Oliver. We had one poster in the gameday threads declaring him a bust, claiming he wasn’t making any impact - that poster knows nothing about football but that doesn’t stop him from bloviating his opinions here on a daily basis.

Seems like a waste of a crow when you can trade it for a conditional 7th...

Well said. I suspect some folks here didn't actually watch that Ravens-Seahawks game yesterday - I did, and LJ was dominant. I don't care what his passing #s were, he was in total command and the Seahawks had no answer for him. He's far and away the best athlete at the position in the NFL.

Need to see him stack together 4 solid quarters, preferably against a good team. Also want to see him process blitzes more quickly. There were plays yesterday where he seemed to identify the hot read correctly, but then he refused to throw it there, and instead patted the ball or ran around in a panic until he was sacked. Didn't like that. But overall, hard not to still have a "Buy" rating on the guy. When he's on, he's elite.

McDaniels tried to "attack his weakness directly" and Edmunds responded with his best game as a pro. Yesterday was a big setback. He seems to have these games where he's tentative to the hole and when he gets there, he tries to make arm tackles. It's concerning, but the NE game demonstrated that he hasn't yet hit his ceiling. He needs more consistency, that's obvious.

Looks like the route combination was designed to attack the slot corner, who had to choose between Duke and Beaz. Allen should've thrown it to Duke, who was closer to being open on the out route.
