Brady and LeBron in the same town. No real fans, just celebs and scenesters. Good, let him finish his career sunning by the pool and building his brand. Good riddance. -
Bills interested in OL Greg Van Roten

Like Botterill and mediocre defensemen? Seriously though you can never have too much line depth. -
Agreed. In terms of playing style and overall ability, the closest comparison to Diggs is Antonio Brown. VERY similar players. And Diggs still seems to be improving. And he’s not a psychopath. Hopkins is one of my favorite non-Bills but he appeared to lose a step last year. I would’ve loved to have him but I have no idea if that was even an option. Diggs may be a better fit for what they’re looking for, in terms of his age, contract and explosiveness. Beane was in a situation where he could’ve hoped to trade up for the top three (Lamb, Jeudy or Ruggs), which probably would’ve been even more expensive, and then, if he’s even able to pull that off, hope that a rookie WR can acclimate to the offense in a virus-shortened offseason. This was far less risk. I do think he’ll want a new deal soon, but not necessarily right away.

The issue is less about death rate and more about hospitalization rate. That’s where the problems lie and that’s why “flattening the curve” is so important - to slow the rate of spread. The nation’s hospitals are going to get overwhelmed, and that’s going to increase the death rate generally - because critically ill patients won’t get access to the medical care they require. -
That’s insane. Who were they competing with for his services?

Some of you do not see the freight train coming right at us. Within two weeks, life as we know it in this country will be changed forever. Overcrowded hospitals, military tent cities in high-concentration outbreak areas, riots over ventilator access, healthcare workers having to choose who to let die, and ultimately becoming sick themselves. This is not about “letting the terrorists win,” this is about taking seriously a threat the likes of which this country has never faced. It can’t be Tweeted away, nor will it be avoided by mouth-breathing, Budweiser-glugging, gun-toting American idiocy. This is the real deal. -

Unfortunately realism and honesty are in short supply right now - but I concur. The "false start" re: testing and containment has put us as a society on our back foot, and it's going to hit the fan next week when the number of community-spread cases absolutely skyrockets and businesses and schools (with very little, or conflicting guidance from government) elect to shut themselves down. That will create a domino effect that will spread to nearly all industries including the NFL. The league year is NOT going to start on time.
