  1. I think folks are underrating McKinney. He's going to be a good one.
  2. Joe B. did an analysis of Beane's draft tendencies (posted elsewhere) which suggests that Beane tends to target positions he's addressed already in FA with short-term veteran contracts. Cornerback certainly fits that description (Gaines, Norman). Would not be surprised at all if Beane takes a corner in Round 2.
  3. I agree. And the Ravens aren't getting enough production out of Earl Thomas. He'd be a great fit there. Man, if the Ravens get Jonathan Taylor or Aiyuk in the 1st and Delpit in the 2nd...
  4. There’s going to be a run on corners at the end of round 1 and the first ten picks of round 2 - there almost always is.
  5. Football Outsiders’ Analysis
  6. Your write up of Herbert reminded me a lot of the Jake Locker scouting reports when he came out.
  7. Any player whose priority is individual recognition doesn’t belong here, anyhow. Ramsey embodies everything that is wrong with today’s professional athlete.
  8. I know myself a good wheel route. That was no wheel route...
  9. Yes. This is what the Bills’ offense needs and he does seem like a true sleeper. Can he run routes is the question - all I see with him are go routes.
  10. Hamler definitely - he reminds me so much of Tyreek Hill. I also wouldn’t overlook interior offensive linemen - the Bills play against some great DLs this coming season and they need Allen to stay upright in 2020.
  11. I could definitely see it. Or to Miami. Or the Chiefs at 32 if he lasts. He’s maybe the most instinctual runner I’ve ever seen. Does this team really need to spend its highest draft pick on upgrading on Siran Neal? This is a critical, “all in” year. It just seems shortsighted to me as much as I like the player.
  12. This is sort of where I’m at. Sort of. It’s going to be tough watching Aiyuk or Hamler or Dobbins tear up the league in 2020 while our first pick (Dugger) spends the season as a special teams gunner. Not that I don’t like the player - I do - but does he help us win in 2020? I’m just not sure. A pick like that would be within their comfort zone, I get that, but I wish they’d step outside of that zone and focus on speed on offense. And egads, if they pass on Johnathan Taylor to take a defensive back I will lose it. I don’t think he’ll last to 54 but if somehow he did and they pass... that dude is special.
  13. False, and I want those 28 minutes back.
  14. What about Ashtyn Davis if he falls to the late 2nd or 3rd?
  15. It has been widely reported that the Diggs deal came together over several hours, after his Tweet. So it’s possible Sanders’ story is exactly what happened.
  16. If we had a better backup QB who could actually win games if Allen got hurt, I'd say absolutely we'd be a lock with our roster. We're a lock as long as Allen stays healthy as it stands now.
  17. Glad they’re finally addressing the dearth of Williams.
  18. And again, I'm not arguing politics, I'm pointing out that the article you linked to for this point does not support it. It quotes ONE expert who is NOT an economist and who does NOT say that a total lockdown is not advisable, just that you need to balance competing interests and be careful.
  19. Here is what the ONE GUY in Pittsburgh actually said in the article you linked: This is a very hard decision to make. As the economic shutdown becomes broader, there is a real risk of doing more damage by threatening peoples’ livelihoods as well as their well-being than the virus will do. There is a point where more harm can be done than good. Voluntary social distancing is one thing and advisable, but government force is quite another.
  20. The disregard for truth is “political” now?
  21. That’s typical for them - they’re in the “facts don’t matter” camp of society.
