  1. How would you know? You “stopped reading” after the author’s name.
  2. “Hacks calling others hacks” should have been the title of this thread.
  3. That’s me, eball, a reckless and irresponsible poster. You’ve attacked me twice in this thread. I linked an actual article, the title of my thread said “Article,” and specified what about the article was interesting relative to the Bills. Let me know if you’d like me to tell you what I think of you as a poster, since you feel empowered to attack the messenger. This place is full of internet tough guys, some of whom live in their moms’ basements.
  4. Yes. But then Shaq ended up being a good player. Slow start strong finish - just like his pass rush moves. It was still a horrible pick given the team’s needs. So I was wrong/right.
  5. I don’t see it linked but I think in the Shaq Lawson thread I said the pick would get Whaley fired. I was wright.
  6. Who’s Foster Thomas?
  7. You mean something like State Media, er, Fox News?
  8. I'm no Tim Graham fan. I do find it hilarious that YOU are calling someone else a hack.
  9. Tim Graham interviewed almost 40 current/former PSE employees, and the feedback was that dysfunction, nepotism, and cost-cutting pervade the organization. The Pegulas gave a presentation in January, right after the Bills made the playoffs, and one of the stated "three pillars" of organizational goals was "return on investment," which was widely described (and possibly stated by the Pegulas directly, though that seems shocking) as ensuring that the Pegulas can maintain their lavish lifestyle. There is concern that the dysfunction within the Sabres will spill over into the Bills, and McD allegedly is concerned about it.
  10. Was this posted elsewhere? I saw a layoffs thread but this is the first I've heard that McDermott (and possibly Beane) are concerned about the impact on the Bills. Anyhow, just merge the thread if it belongs elsewhere. The "IN..." responses stopped being funny ages ago...
  11. Really interesting/concerning article in The Athletic today, it's a good but terrifying read: https://theathletic.com/1758235/2020/04/20/as-pegulas-face-business-challenges-employees-describe-a-toxic-culture-at-pse/ " Two sources close to Bills head coach Sean McDermott say the January meetings left him concerned about low morale eroding the culture he and general manager Brandon Beane have cultivated over the past three years with a meticulous, holistic attitude."
  12. Peter King is predicting this happens in his mock today. Peter Kong’s Mock and Happy 4/20
  13. A 5’7” RB with limited speed as a first round pick? I’d be shocked if this happens.
  14. When you put it that way - I kind of do need to get a life?
  15. Well. I just started a thread about this and somehow missed this post. Is the Tweet still there? I can’t seem to find it.
  16. Sorry if this is being floated/debunked elsewhere, I’ve scoured the many draft threads and haven’t seen it. But it’s been keeping me up at night. Let’s assume the rumors of Miami preferring Herbert are true, and I’m starting to think they are. What happens to Tua? Conventional wisdom says that he doesn’t make it past the Chargers. Which makes sense - they have a need at the position, and he’d be a big name “get” for marketing purposes (including cross-marketing to the Pacific Islander population of SoCal and Hawaii). But what if the Bolts pass, or take Jordan Love? Then what? Where does Tua end up, how far does he slide? Does Jacksonville take him at 9? Or, does what has been keeping me up at night come to pass - does New England find a way to get him? BB and Saban are buddies and I’m sure New England has all the intel they need to make an informed decision - he fits their biggest need and his off-the-charts processing speed would fit perfectly into that offense. Could this actually happen??
  17. For me, nothing will ever top the Tunsil gas mask photo. That might’ve been a Top 5 sports event of my life.
  18. I like your thinking. I worry whether they have the discipline to pull it off. Their comfort zone is scouting defense - they know what they like and can utilize on that side of the ball. They seem less comfortable with their ability to scout offense and it will be hard for them to resist passing on a corner or safety in Round 2 when there will be guys there who they know with virtual certainty they’ve evaluated correctly and can fit right into the defense in 2020. Not saying I want them to do that - I don’t, I want speed and skill on offense. Just worry they will wait until the later rounds since they see their own evaluations on offense as inherently riskier anyhow, so why not wait to spend a less valuable pick.
  19. The Kelce comp seems close. He’d be a real weapon.
  20. So Bobby Johnson coached him in Indy?
  21. Yup and speaking of insane shows, ZeroZeroZero on Prime, my goodness. It’s like Sicario on steroids.
