  1. Taylor was one of my sleepers - he’s a dude.
  2. Eff it I want them to take Winfield now.
  3. That's why Derrick Brown would've been the better pick IMO. Keep Slay if you need a corner - you've got a good one - and draft Brown who can blow up a passing game and has an A+ football character.
  4. He replaces much of what Lorax did and gives them flexibility to sub in and out of nickel looks. Milano, Edmunds and Dugger on the field at the same time provides real problems for the offense. That said, I doubt he makes much of an impact on defense in year 1, and watching guys like Hamler and Pittman make plays while our top pick is a special teams gunner is going to be hard to stomach. As I keep saying - he’s a comfort zone pick for McBeane, because they know they can use him. I’d prefer they stretched a bit more...
  5. I mean, isn’t that why they keep drafting in the top 10?
  6. Re the Lions, I don’t know what the exact right strategy was but using a Top 5 pick on replacing a good player with a slightly cheaper player at the same position can’t be it.
  7. Taylor is going between 33-44.
  8. As I see it the picks themselves are only half the issue. Both Detroit and Jacksonville traded away highly skilled CBs in their primes so that they could draft uncertain replacements. I understand the cap management reasons but neither team needed to do it that way - both could have afforded the CBs they had with some creative roster management. What they did was tread water (or worse, if the rookies end up being busts, which Henderson at least might). We as Bills fans have seen plenty of that kind of approach, not just at CB but at RB and other positions as well. I feel like lots of teams have no real plan and decide to change out players at the same position just to look like they have a plan. But they don't. Marrone has no idea what he's doing and it amazes me that he still has a job, but I guess he found one of the few completely unaccountable organizations left in the NFL. It took Coughlin starting fights with everyone to finally get him ejected there.
  9. I'm thinking there is like a 75% chance the Bills take a DB at 54, either Chinn/Dugger or Hall/Johnson.
  10. No, because he might rob a Walmart. YES FOR THE BILLS PICK, WHAT ARE WE TALKING ABOUT
  11. Joe B keeps saying it’ll be Dugger...
  12. Is he being held hostage somewhere in the south?
  13. Vrabel showing up with his own Tiger King scene...
  14. Kiper looks like a freaking muppet.
  15. Yup, top RB makes them unstoppable.
  16. As long as Trey Anastasio stays off the junk they should be fine.
  17. The Pats have an opening...
  18. Rodgers is gonna have such a meltdown. Instead of getting him help after he basically has been carrying that franchise himself, they went and got a project to replace him. He’s gonna flip.
  19. How come Belichick didn’t want Murray?
  20. So much cheap labor replacing expensive labor. This draft has been more about cashflow and cap allocation than any other I can remember. Wonder if owners are worrying about revenue declines.
  21. Eagles love these guys. Maclin, DJax...
  22. Jags are gonna jettison Ramsey and Yannick to replace them with two rookies. Marrone and Caldwell are champion water-treaders.
  23. Minny is now gonna panic and take a corner.
