  1. And that’s.... Game over, man!
  2. They really don't. Oliver wrecked Darnold's timing and confidence from the jump yesterday and was a big reason the Bills got out to such a big lead.
  3. That's what I saw. He was an absolute BEAST yesterday to my untrained eyes.
  4. In his postgame PC, Allen said that re: the first fumble, Allen simply didn't think anyone was behind him - he lost track of the second defender. On the second fumble he was flipped upside-down and instinctively dropped the ball to brace himself. Both causes seem correctable in theory...
  5. If Parker is out this game should be a cinch. He’s the only player that causes trouble for the Bills’ D. Maybe Geiseke too.
  6. Wasn’t a substitution was an extra lineman. Think he was tackle eligible on Josh’s TD run.
  7. There was a play toward the end of the game when Darnold was scrambling to his right and a Bills defender was running directly at him - and Darnold casually took a sack instead of just tossing the ball out of bounds. Reminded me of Trent for sure. After seeing that I realized Darnold is broken. He was airmailing passes like crazy yesterday. It’s insane that Adam Gase still has a job.
  8. Didn’t realize Zimmer was 27, he’s bounced around a bunch since the Bills signed him as a UDFA back in 2016. He’s an athletic freak, had a ridiculous Pro Day. Wonder if he can finally put it all together. His measurables are a lot like Kyle’s, and that run stuff in the backfield he made early in the game looked like a KW special.
  9. They have posters named “peebag” and “Daddy Wang Doodle.” Oh, Jets fans. Never change.
  10. Again, Daboll calls those plays to get linebackers to hesitate, creating intermediate space and setting up similar play calls later in the game.
  11. The point is just about protecting your investment. For whatever reason the organization has taken a cavalier/borderline negligent approach to protecting Allen and increasing their margin for error. Allen rather remarkably has succeeded despite it - as opposed to the guy on the other team today who did not look good enough to win games all by himself like Allen can.
  12. I agree. OTOH Daboll used a LOT of eye candy today - plus read option - Daboll wants to make the defense think on the fly, it’s just his philosophy.
  13. In his PC Josh said he audibled to that play “out of a bad situation.”
  14. If he hits one of the two endzone overthrows (Knox and Brown) and/or puts the ball on Beasley’s stride, he’s in the Lamar Jackson/Patrick Mahomes conversation. He should’ve had 400 yds and 3 or 4 passing TDs today.
  15. Don’t forget no QB coach or veteran backup his first year. That was criminal negligence.
  16. He was better at anticipation throws for sure. Ball placement still needs to improve. First half was best passing half he’s had as a Bill, super efficient and used all of his receivers. Came a bit unglued after his second fumble and seemed like he was pressing.
  17. He was not on the field the last couple of drives, they had Siran Neal playing corner which was odd. Worried that he got banged up too.
  18. Missed two wide-open TDs, underthrew Beasley on what should’ve been a long score, and fumbled twice. Should’ve been picked in the endzone on the second to last drive with yet another inexcusable cross-body heave into coverage. Even Josh would admit he needs to be way better. He’s one of the best athletes on the field and was super efficient in the first half but he needs to stop glitching or his career is never going to take the final step from exciting to elite. Tired of seeing it and tired of talking about it. Love the guy though.
  19. The offense in the first half was as efficient as I’ve seen it under Daboll. Need to put four full quarters of consistent play, that’s been a McDermott issue. Also Josh missed TWO wide open TDs. In addition to Brown he overthrew Knox in the same spot for what should’ve been an easy score. Something about rolling to his left - he has trouble setting and firing. Almost like he’s too big, if you’ve ever tried to throw one of those hutch mini footballs they can be surprisingly tough to get touch on at times - I think big QBs struggle with touch passing at times, especially on the run.
  20. Amazing idea, cutting the kicker.
  21. Ok, thanks - let us know when you solve the riddle.
  22. Josh is just always going to be this way.
  23. Interesting about Darnold, I thought I read this week that he’s been one of the worst QBs against pressure.
