Agree and after Thursday night I will add this: The NFL is full of exciting young QBs for the first time in my lifetime. For decades there were only 3-6 truly special QBs in the league at any given time. Now we’ve got: Mahomes Watson Allen Baker Burrow Murray Lamar J Dak Wentz Plus older but no less exciting QBs: Rogers Wilson Cam Stafford Ryan And the old but still very capable: Brady Brees Big Ben Rivers That’s like 2/3 of the league with good QB play and then you’ve got competent starters like Tannehill, Fitz, Darnold (maybe), Jimmy G., Cousins, etc. The NFL is super fun to watch right now and it’s because we may be witnessing the Golden Age of Quarterbacking.

Last week he may have begun his transformation into Big Ben II. That’s what I want to see continue - can Allen become a true surgeon as a passer and put the entire offense on his back? It’s time to find out.

Gaskin worries me a bit. This is a must-win game for Miami, home opener, veteran QB, and an OC who loves the screen game - not ideal to be missing your top two LBs. Just need to score a bunch of points I guess. Wouldn’t kill McDermott to have to trust his offense to win an early-season road game against a divisional opponent - goes against all of his natural instincts.

It's such a Billsy thing - whenever they go into a season with depth concerns at a particular position group, they seem to immediately suffer a slew of injuries to that specific group. Bad luck but it seems like it's been happening for decades.

Good post especially the part about his attitude - his football character is off the charts high and it's the biggest reason why he's on track to out-perform his peers from that class (except perhaps Lamar).

I think his point about YPA was simply that against better teams, Allen is going to need to maintain his accuracy % while increasing his YPA. He's right.

Woods had skates on when he was here. He literally fell down almost every time he caught the ball. He seems to have gotten better cleats and his game has really come on.

Gabe Davis blew a couple of blocks and took a bad penalty. Was not a great game for him.

He was terrible yesterday. He’s ok if he has a good game plan, his line keeps him clean and the moon is in the third quadrant of the sky. Otherwise he’s trash. He’s Kirk Cousins - just good enough to get you fired.
