I wonder if it matters where the pressure comes from.

Yup. I tried it out (in my living room) and I kind of get it - if you bring your front foot off the ground on the rotation you can swing your hips through faster. Not sure how it affects velocity - it’s odd because you would think raising your pivot point off the floor would reduce your power but if you do it all in one motion it really doesn’t.

I wonder if the anticipated pressure up the middle tomorrow will impact his comfort level doing that front foot hop step. Interior passrush often gets a QB to revert to poor mechanics.

Word of Muth Watching the Bills beat the Dolphins, you can see why people might be excited. Buffalo looked explosive when they had the ball, rattling off big pass plays one after another. It was a vertical attack that resulted in 31 points and a division win. The guys throwing and catching it are always going to get the attention, but the Bills' offensive line was very good as well.

Could be - my point is that the draft is a crapshoot, professional scouts and GMs who “live and breathe this stuff” get it wrong all the time. Plus the most annoying guy on the message board is the one who shows up and says “None of you are coaches and scouts so be quiet.”

Yup. Spain was trash. He seems like a slow starter - takes about a month or so to get into playing shape. Hopefully that's what happens otherwise they'll bench him in favor of Feliciano when he returns.
