Agree with this. Not really sure what Tua is - his short passes have incredible timing and precision, but that’s all he’s got right now. He can’t or won’t challenge defenses downfield. They run an Alex Smith-type horizontal offense when he’s in there. It’s not sustainable long-term. But what if they were to trade for Matt Stafford or even Matt Ryan? They have a good coach and a ton of high draft picks. They could be scary.

We are focusing on the wrong divisional opponent. The Dolphins are a playoff team with a top 5 pick thanks to Bill O’Brien. They are coming.

Probably right. He is just a shade less of a natural passer though - that throw Allen made today while he was falling, with a funny arm angle, is the kind of throw Mahomes makes 2-3 times per game. Allen is the stronger, more natural runner. It’s really Mahomes 1a and Allen 1b or 1c for the young guys with Rogers having a late career renaissance and Wilson just not consistent enough to overcome an atrocious defense. Don’t sleep on Herbert though, he coming.
