  1. How many punts did we force? How many times did Mahomes have to even look to his second read? The dropped screen wasn't even close to pivotal in that game. It was a rout - they didn't defend anything the Chiefs did. A screen pass to a running back would not have put the Bills in the Super Bowl. Please.
  2. Such a weird thing to say. Bad enough they traded all of those assets to move up to 3 with no set plan on who they're taking. Now they kill off Jimmy G. with a quote?
  3. LOL. If they actually spend MORE than a single first round pick on Etienne... my hope is that Etienne is a smokescreen and they're moving up for a corner or Phillips.
  4. Not to nitpick but he was chosen at 16. Not sure this changes your position but it's worth pointing out, especially because (i) the Bills spent assets to trade up for him; and (ii) there were better LBs taken after him.
  5. The Bills did and do “score enough” to keep up with KC. What you’re really talking about is being able to score faster - and a running back doesn’t help there. To the contrary, most teams feature running backs to help them score more slowly! The goal is to keep the other team’s offense off the field. Which is a fine strategy at times - but it doesn’t require an elite talent at RB, just a good overall running scheme and blocking. Frankly I cannot believe some of the arguments I’m reading here in favor of taking a running back at 30 with Moss and Motor on the roster already, in a passing offense, for a team with other needs at premium positions. I’m flabbergasted.
  6. Tie goes to the premium position. EDGE, LT, CB, WR.
  7. Promo, I am indeed here to tell you the Chiefs don't need Edwards-Helaire. Want proof? They barely used him last year and almost won the Super Bowl. As For Kamara, (i) he was not a first round pick; and (ii) he's far better than Etiene.
  8. You just explained why they should NOT take a running back in round 1! Their offense doesn’t require an elite rusher. So either they’re wasting a high pick on a guy they don’t need, or they’re going to re-jigger the offense to feature a running back. Either one of those paths would be laughably stupid! CB is a perfectly sensible pick. Elijah Moore I could get talked into. Eichenberg if he lasts (tho I suspect Indy takes him first). Rousseau, Paye, Tryon if they think they can mold the clay there.
  9. There is NO WAY they’re giving a rookie RB on the smaller side 18-22 touches per game in Daboll’s offense. It just isn’t going to happen, not in 2021 and even afterwards, not unless they tweak the offense and trade Motor or Moss. I just don’t get this thinking at all. Where would those touches be coming from? He’s not a “bell cow” back and he doesn’t pass block. Are you taking the ball out of Allen’s hands to feed Etiene? If so you’re committing coaching malpractice. Realistically, if they take Etiene at 30 and don’t trade/release Motor or Moss, we’re talking 5-10 touches per game MAX in 2021 and that’s probably including KR duties. Again, not a good ROI for a first round pick.
  10. The Bills waive their first round pick because Beane’s Zoom is on mute and the clock runs out.
  11. What percentage of the offense would he achieve in 2021? 5-10%? Maybe? They could replicate that production with Breida and a UDFA. Would be a total waste of a first round pick.
  12. I’d suspect they’d want him in the 45-60 range which would mean a trade down from 30 or trade up in the second round. Not sure he’s giving value at 30 if they stay put.
  13. Phillips would be a home run pick if he falls - but he won’t. He’ll be long gone.
  14. Sounds like JP might’ve mastered the short passing game if the coaches could’ve done a better job explaining to him how it fit strategically into what they were trying to accomplish.
  15. Based on that article, there is zero reason it couldn’t have worked out differently for him with better coaching. He’s clearly a student of the game - “all ball” - and had the tools to be great. His floor, with proper coaching, should’ve been Jake Plummer. Again, Ralph kept the Bills in Buffalo and for that we should be duly thankful. But he was a real PoS. Wyche was well past his prime by then.
  16. Great article and he’s completely different from how he was portrayed here. Never got a fair shake. The quote about him getting blitzed relentlessly as a rookie in practice was really interesting. And then there’s that nugget about whispers that he was benched for Trent Edwards at Wilson’s directive so as to not have to pay the bonus. Ralph was a terrible owner - so many careers crashed and drowned on the rocks of his stewardship. Read the article.
  17. Again, he looks pretty ordinary. Most of the time he's running through wide-open holes in those clips. His ceiling is maybe a Michael Turner.
  18. About what I expected except for the blonde hair.
  19. TSW had better get to the bottom of this before the option deadline...
  20. Agree - that draft would be a disaster and it would cause real problems down the line as the Bills lock up Allen (and possibly Edmunds) long-term and have a cap crunch as a result. They’d get next to nothing out of that entire draft and the impact would linger for awhile. We are entering the era where Beane and his highly-touted scouting department need to hit on their picks (including late rounders) to stay successful. Astro’s draft would set the team back significantly.
  21. Tucker Carlson looks like if you crossed a Yale student with an inflatable sex toy. And he’s an insufferable, evil POS. That is all.
  22. Didn’t like the existing Oweh thread? Or the existing “tell us about your most recent nightmare” thread?
  23. I wouldn’t be surprised in the least actually - but I’d be shocked if this was the news outlet to break that story.
