  1. Is that all secret code? A madlibs entry? No idea what ANY of that means.
  2. You are misreading the article. He says the GM Gettleman wanted him, Joe Judge the coach did not. Two different people.
  3. Showed up in May weighing 265, they told him to get down to 251 for training camp, he showed up three pounds HEAVIER and claimed he “added muscle.” Then he trashed the coaching staff on his way out the door. Dude is an all-time LOSER.
  4. 2021 it’s the zombie apocalypse except the zombies all use the internet.
  5. A Lombardi is a real possibility this year. Amazing.
  6. Hope drafting Jordan Love was worth it. Some Kevin Adams-level stupidity, that.
  7. Tipster I could set my watch to you.
  8. Did he lose his balance and fall forward?
  9. Beasley is about to get himself released. Hope it was worth it Cole.
  10. I might add to this, poor decision-making in terms of who he’s surrounding himself with. He needs at least one friend who serves as a conscience to stop him from getting into a hot water, and/or a “fixer” if it’s too late for that. I’ll also add, I’ve said many times, you don’t really know a true friend until he’s pulled you out of a Vegas strip club at 3 am and stuffed you into a cab and probably paid for the dances you passed out during. Just saying. True friends are rare and you need to make sure you have them and know who they are.
  11. Healthy organizations engage in succession planning in the ordinary course. (Does yours?)
  12. Compare Basham’s combine stats to Chris Jones’ combine stats. Jones has 3 inches and was 30 lbs heavier coming out, but they are similar types of players and Basham’s explosiveness measurables seem much higher even accounting for the difference in size. I’m taking the over on that pick.
  13. Check out this blurb from NFL Analyst Greg Cosell, guest-writing for Peter King in today’s FMIA: “4. I think, speaking of Josh Allen, he is the most physically gifted quarterback in the NFL. That is not a bold, controversial take. It is just a statement of fact. Whether he develops into the best quarterback in the NFL is a different question, one that remains to be answered. Remember, Allen is 6-foot-5 and 240 pounds. Think about that for a moment. I have stood right next to him, and he is a big man. I stood a few feet away watching him throw, and I have never seen a ball come out of the hand of a passer like it does with Allen. It was otherworldly. The name that often comes up, and rightly so, when the talk is of the most physically talented quarterbacks of all time is John Elway. Allen is a much bigger man than Elway. Allen is the most intriguing quarterback I have watched and evaluated in all my years at NFL Films. It would not surprise me at all if we soon call Allen the most physically gifted quarterback the league has ever seen. Stay tuned.” 😲
  14. Yup, the Stillers were backed up on the goal line and Dareus, also a rookie from that class, caught DeCastro off balance and literally screwed DeCastro into the turf and just destroyed his knee. It was brutal.
  15. Very meta - a thread discussing the lack of a thread…
