Allen has been bad for a few weeks.

I know it makes no sense but this seems to be the easiest team to kick field goals against. No one ever misses an important kick against the Bills.

Just terrible with the mentals. Poor preparation and awful situational football and coaching.

They absolutely could lose this game.

This is not a well-coached team.

Losing three players from the middle of the defense could spell trouble, if not this week then certainly against Indy.

What’s depressing is that he’s 32. I feel like it was yesterday I was watching him play in college.

Leodis McKelvin was the most athletic cornerback I’ve ever seen but his ball skills were so terrible his career never got on track. It’s something you either have or you don’t, most of the time - an innate sense of where the ball/puck/frisbee is going. That plus studying routes makes Wallace a strong number 2 man. Wonder if someone will overpay him as a 1 when his contract is up.

I don’t think Tua really wants to be doing this for a living. Just the sense I get from the way he plays.

Dane Jackson almost single-handedly cost them the game on Sunday after a horrible bite on a double move. Suspect they won’t be putting him back out there this year unless there’s a real emergency.

I don’t think the problem is being too “QB dependent” - I think the issue is they’re too big play-dependent. Both Allen and Dabs seem to have become addicted to the quick-strike kill shot. Ever wonder why their drives seem to stall out at the 35-40, right on the cusp of field goal range? To my eyes it’s because they go for the kill there and end up taking a sack or holding penalty or throwing incomplete into double coverage while waiting for some long route to develop. Part of the issue is they lack the precision and personnel to convert TDs in the red zone, but they’re well-suited to the 40-yard TD strike - so they rush it.

Good PC - he is clearly displeased with his offensive coaches (Daboll and Johnson), and he came as close as he'll ever come to calling out an individual player (Dawkins).

This is a mess

On Sunday it was clear Beasley was injured and not only were they force-feeding him, they were slamming him into the defense on bubble screens as a substitute for a running game. He got beat up even more and could barely finish the game. It was General MacArthur-level insanity and it’s squarely a coaching/communication issue - really bad look for McDermott.
