  1. I am glad they have to fly home after this.
  2. Josh Allen (the QB) agrees with my take but I’m sure he appreciates the soft landing here.
  3. I have seen Big Ben win MANY games in his career just like this one, where his line was garbage and the playcalling was odd and his receivers were uninterested. He often overcomes (or used to) those conditions. Josh was a huge part of the problem today. I’m giving him no credit for sucking and neither should you. Hell, he admitted in his post-game that he played like sh—. Blind loyalty does no favors.
  4. You really can’t know for sure until you see how they and other teams respond. If Allen permanently loses trust in his protection and the playcalling, if Diggs checks out or starts griping, if McBeane circles the wagons on Cody Ford to prove a point, if other teams play deep shell zone because they trust their front four to manhandle the Bills’ line, then yes.
  5. Top three things Beane’s mis-evaluation of Cody Ford has cost us: 3) Wyatt Teller 2) DK Metcalf 1) Homefield advantage in the 21/22 playoffs
  6. He did, he wasn’t ready for the snap.
  7. You are demanding that someone prove the un-provable. On both INTs there was no reason to make the throw he made.
  8. And if he can’t overcome his DNA we may be looking at his ceiling.
  9. I think you’re confusing me with your pet turtle Gary.
  10. Both interceptions were colossally dumb decisions where there was no need to press. Both fumbles were on botched plays were better situational football and following the play design avoids disaster. No one played well today. But Allen was atrocious in the second half and they couldn’t overcome it.
  11. McD pulled him aside on the Jax botched challenge time out and told him not to take a sack - that a field goal was fine there. Allen took a sack. He is at a crossroads. Huh? Show me another time I’ve ever posted about this?
  12. I know you aren’t good at digesting things like reality and objective evidence. There are no “Allen haters” on this forum that I’m aware of. Allen had a decent first half and a four-turnover second half where he stacked bad decisions. He makes a quarter billion dollars and was completely flummoxed by the worst pass defense in the NFL. He was trash today.
  13. Stubbornness is a leadership flaw. A more sophisticated ownership group would challenge these guys.
  14. He played a good first half and morphed into Jake Plummer in the second half when he stopped trusting his teammates. I have very little respect for his game today. He refuses to play within the structure even when his poor decisions cost the team over and over again. Right now this is who he is. It might be who he always is - this may be his ceiling, a guy who loses patience and gets bored and desperate when things don’t break right. If so, he’ll need a lot more help around him if they ever expect a Lombardi.
  15. Correct and it’s a real shame this time because one or two moves could’ve put this team over the top - the path to the Super Bowl was all greased up and well-lit. It was there for the taking. But Brandon Beane has a neat little spreadsheet that he can show to Terry on January 12 when the Bills’ season ends that shows a $3.5m savings on personnel and a nifty little profit for boss-man. Best li’l car dealership in Sheboygan. Congrats big guy!
  16. This loss was a complete organizational failure from Beane on down. The weaknesses on this roster have been apparent from the offseason yet stubbornly ignored by a GM who thinks his job is to put his team “in the mix” in January and run a profit, like a car dealership in Wisconsin. The SB window was open this season with a paper-soft schedule and the main AFC competitors looking weak - but he didn’t want to “mortgage the future” and go all-in for a title. Your OC is coaching for his resume. Your QB thinks he’s Superman and cannot discipline himself to play within the structure. Home field advantage is gone - this team will have to go win on the road in New England or Baltimore and doesn’t have the toughness or focus to get through those physical teams in big moments.
  17. OP should be banned for life. Life isn’t fair, I get it, but this thread was a curse.
  18. At this point he has hit a ceiling and it’s up to him whether he’ll surpass it. He cannot stop himself from the Hero Ball crap and that’s fine, he can be Jake Plumber and have a perfectly frisky NFL career. At least it won’t be boring. But it won’t bring MVP awards and championships either because he’d rather play with chaos than suffer through the boredom of playing within the structure. He is at a crossroads.
  19. Might be the worst game ever played.
