  1. They’ve got hold of you man - we need to get an exorcist up in here.
  2. Maybe I’m in the minority here. I still LOVE beating the Dolphins - it’s my favorite two weeks of the year probably. But I don’t hate them - I save my hate these days for the Jets. I hate that organization top to bottom, I hate their fans, I hate their bland McStadium, all of it. The Fins tho? I like Tua and McDaniel, their offense is fun to watch when it’s humming - at least they’re trying something different. Yes they wilt under physical conditions but I think it’s mostly because they haven’t built a real defense under McDaniel - hopefully the owner will become impatient and fire him and it’ll set them back another few years.
  3. Don’t some of these organizations get tired of sucking?
  4. You literally do this every week in the game week thread - is this some kind of personal ritual?
  5. Wait this is a weather thread now?
  6. Have always wanted him as the long-term backup for Josh.
  7. I find as I get older that I sometimes need the reminder to stand up/pay attention.
  8. Who has said that about AC/DC they can meet me in the parking lot. Yeah like I said they've been playing it at Ranger games in the Garden for years. Bills fans think it's their own special li'l thing? LOL.
  9. It is horrible. BASIC in every sense of the word.
  10. There is no way to run that offense without a ton of practice, repetition, and precision. Maybe on the defensive side of the ball they are soft and un-rehearsed but that offense is super crisp because it wouldn't work otherwise.
  11. It's almost like it was written as the bridge for some other song. It would be a great bridge. It's a terrible standalone song.
  12. They've been doing it at the Rangers games at MSG for a few years now. Every fanbase seems to think it's their thing. My unpopular opinion: that song SUCKS. It's manic, confined to a very narrow melodic range (basically just the same few notes over and over again), sung in a very nasal and annoying timbre. I hate it. It's a bland anthem about nothing.
  13. Just take the extra 1 minute to spell check and typo check. You spent all of that time logging onto the site and typing out your thoughts. Just 1 more minute is all it would take.
  14. Can’t two things be true at the same time: 1) A lot of people are way too easily offended and search for/lean into grievances, constantly, and it’s exhausting; and 2) A lot of people are classless a-holes who find delight in provoking others and openly shirking social norms, constantly, and it’s exhausting.
  15. I watched the Brazilian tv version today - outstanding.
  16. Definitely getting myself a pair of those goggles … but not for football…
  17. This is why I would've started with Ty Johnson (or pivoted to him early). Cook was never going to get going against that defensive strategy, but pounding a bigger back in for a few yards would've started tiring out the defense and sucking in the linebackers which could've opened things up over the middle. Whatever they found a way.
  18. See I come at this differently. I know it’s normally the reverse but Sunday was a game where I would’ve started with Ray Davis or Ty Johnson to batter down and tire out the front seven a bit and then I would’ve switched up to Cook. Again the tendency is usually the opposite, get the defense tired from chasing and then hit them with the power back - but with the Chiefs I’d have done it in reverse.
  19. Funny. I remember watching that Pats/Colts game in the East Village and was remarking before the game this weekend that this Bills/Chiefs rivalry has become the same sort of must-see TV.
  20. History is written by the victors.
  21. I would assume the coaches themselves would agree that it was not a sustainable way to play on offense - they were NOT on schedule at all, and in particular the first down play calling was atrocious.
