  1. They got a historic season out of Taylor and couldn't even get baseline competence out of the QB. How do they improve on it other than hoping Wentz miraculously gets better?
  2. He missed practice time leading up to the Raiders game right? That was an excuse bandied about for that (or one of the other) loss.
  3. It's just - if you're Reich, you're asking yourself ok, what else do I have to do next season to make Wentz more successful? They've got the best running back in the NFL. They have good enough receivers (probably could use 1-2 more real playmakers there). They've got a great o-line. Wentz was mostly healthy this year (other than his idiotic refusal to get vaxxed and the inevitable missed time as a result). What conditions could make him more successful? They don't have a first round pick, although they do have cap room. How do they get over the hump with that guy at QB?
  4. Still not confirmed anywhere but yeah, if it happens I'd expect meaningful snaps on Saturday night.
  5. Guessing Obada would go to IR. Or Butler would go to the street.
  6. Obada sucks against the run and they need to tighten up for the playoffs. Big running team coming in this weekend as a matter of fact. Locker room will LOVE having him back. Short-term contract (I assume) means incentives will be properly aligned. LOVE this.
  7. You forget where they take a detour to make fun of a mentally handicapped person.
  8. He's an ascending young player who has put up comparable numbers with worse QBs and he can return kicks and punts. You're either being purposely obtuse or, more likely, it's YOU who has the agenda. I would LOVE to add Berrios. Upgrades on Beasley and McKenzie in one fell swoop.
  9. According to Football Outsiders, Beasley declined from 2020-2021 more than any other WR in the league. “Biggest Decline: Cole Beasley, BUF From humble slot receiver to … whatever he is now. Beasley caught exactly 82 balls in both 2020 and 2021, but his yardage fell from 967 to 693, his average gain from 11.8 to 8.5, his touchdowns from four to one, and his DYAR from 267 (12th) to -47 (86th).” (Don’t bother the Truthers with facts, though…)
  10. They won’t even address the selfishness/distraction issue. Just pretend it’s not a thing. Won’t engage with it or respond to it at all, even though it’s THE issue with him, not his personal medical decision.
  11. stop being a narcissist - what’s the benefit of being “first” if the content isn’t even there?
  12. It would not suit Allen. I understand the benefit of a rhythm-based offense that makes runs and passes look nearly identical from the defense’s perspective, but Allen is at his best when he can improvise and go off-script.
  13. Is it not what Green Bay runs with Rodgers?
  14. Tua’s OC at Bama, in theory weakens a division rival, the fit is obvious…
  15. There it is. When people (posters) tell you who they are, believe them.
  16. And you'd be telling him to "shut up and dribble." You know exactly why you act the way you do. Personally I'd like to see them upgrade on BOTH Beasley and McKenzie this offseason. A dynamic slot receiver who can break tackles, line up in the backfield, return punts (without the drama), contribute to the locker room (without the drama) - sign me up.
  17. LOL we've got the Russian bot (who only shows up in the football side of the forum when certain trigger topics are mentioned) vs. the well-respected football poster.
  18. Wasn't it the 3rd and 15 after the idiotic handoff to Moss on 2nd and 15 (where a trip should've been called on the Jets)? I remember being angry at McDermott and Daboll too, because the throw had no chance at getting a first down.
  19. When he does make the catches he seems content this year to go out of bounds a yard before the sticks to avoid contact. Granted I'm basing this off my eyes, not any analysis I've done so I could be wrong, it just *feels* like he's stretching less for first downs this year.
  20. Guessing it had to do with a contract clause he wanted satisfied - they went out of their way to target Diggs last night to get him his incentives, maybe Beas had something similar at stake. Dude has put himself before the team ALL SEASON so he can suck it. They were winning the game against a soft opponent with the division title on the line, it’s not like they needed his production to save them. Don’t care if it happens to align with certain posters’ politics - he’s been selfish regardless of the reasons.
