  1. Toney is good at separating the ball from his hands.
  2. Looks like the Chiefs have Ruvell Martin and Marcus Easley out there at WR. That was unbelievably bad.
  3. Agree… in the context of our cap situation, it wasn’t feasible. He’s a good player, but he hasn’t reached the ceiling he potentially has with his physical gifts. You can do better, but you can also do much worse at MLB. Unfortunately, it looks like we are in position to do the latter. Milano turning out not just to be a good player, but a great player also factored in to how much money was left.
  4. This sounds about right… we are worse off without him, but he probably isn’t worth the contract he got. He is a good player.
  5. One would think if they zip down the field for a quick TD, that will be it. But, if they recreate last week’s miscues, you have to wonder how long McDermott will leave them in.
  6. Absolutely heartbroken to hear this. God bless you RJ… you were truly the best of the best.
  7. Rocky, my good fellow, the hook brings you back…
  8. It seems to be a foregone conclusion that this is Damar’s award this year. https://www.vegasinsider.com/nfl/odds/comeback-player-of-the-year/
  9. If HAPPY DAYS says it you can take it to the bank. Thank you my good fellow!
  10. What’s good, gents? What’s good? What’s the word on this Deandre fellow?
  11. Perhaps what Buffalo ill is trying to say is…
  12. With the owners meetings convening in Arizona, it would make sense that this might get done in the next couple of days with everyone together out there.
  13. Not saying Beane gets this deal done, but the cap hits for the team acquiring Hopkins are quite a bit lower: ”If traded, his cap hits for his new team would be $19.45 million in 2023 and $14.915 million in 2024.” https://sports.betmgm.com/en/blog/nfl/deandre-hopkins-contract-salary-cap-hit-potential-extension-bm10/
  14. At least we know he'll take one for the team!
  15. YE OLE concurs… top marks all the way around. If you are going to put on one of these shindigs, this is the blueprint.
  16. YE OLE concurs, my good fellow! Tomlin takes a lot of flack for his in game decisions around punting and so forth (deservedly so), but he sure gets a lot of his teams. Earlier this year when the Steelers fell to 3-7 it was a done deal that his streak of winning seasons was over. Unbelievable to get that team to 9-8 from that spot.
  17. The game has certainly changed in the last 25 years, but it wouldn’t be the worst idea to have a couple mammoths at DT. When Pat Williams and Ted Washington and later Sam Adams were clogging up the middle, it sure opened everyone else up.
  18. It’s almost like they tried to lose. There’s really no explanation for any of this.
  19. It was definitely the case that they had no chance to win that game yesterday. They appeared to have no interest in being there at all. This team has flaws, but if they played their A game yesterday, they win. Unfortunately, the best they have mustered since Green Bay has been a string of C games and that clunker yesterday. They certainly faced a lot of adversity this year, but something has to change internally or it’s hard to see them getting through a full season being consistently excellent.
