  2. When that table collapsed on Pacheco, it was as though fate was tipping her cap to Bills Mafia.
  3. Gents, here’s the lay of the land as YE OLE sees it… We are one Baltimore win away from controlling our destiny to the 2 seed. Then we will be one Baltimore loss from controlling our destiny to hosting the AFC Championship Game.
  4. The Autumn Wind is a pirate… robbing children of their gold.
  5. It would be an awesome situation to go to Miami week 18 and getting the 2 seed with a win or 6 seed with a loss.
  6. This has been sticking in YE OLE’s craw. Chris Brown has been saying all week that if Jax loses tomorrow we control our own destiny. He said it again tonight when they signed off after the game. Nate Geary reiterated it on the postgame tonight. As you have aptly states mannc… we already control our own destiny. For better or worse after the dumpster fire that was this game.
  7. Playoff Lenny looked pretty decent there, gents!
  8. Gents… somewhere Tony Romo just yelled “BIG GAME GABE!”
  9. Gents, James Cook is THE GOODS… FACT!
  10. James Cook is THE WHIP!
  11. James Cook is THE WHIP… FACT!
  12. We are talking about anthems in here now, gents!
  13. This team is almost a statistical impossibility. They are plus 104 in point differential (4th in the league). The combined record of the top 9 teams in point differential outside of the Bills is 59-20.
  14. The Knox contract really isn't a problem IMHO. At this point, Kincaid looks like he could be an elite level TE and should be TE1 without any debate unless he proves otherwise at some point. But, he's going to be on a rookie deal for the remainder of Knox's contract so the money being spent at the position in total probably isn't too bad. Knox hasn't been perfect, but he's been pretty good and does make plays. As a TE2, you can't ask for much better than Knox. We just shouldn't force 12 personnel. Run some 2 TE sets at a normal clip and get Knox in when it suits the situation, or as a backup when Kincaid can't go.
  15. “Other styles of offense” = huddle up and run shotgun draw and kill a few drives
  16. It’s hard to say what exactly is going on with this team, but something is off. Diggs is still great and Kincaid looks like he is going to be great as well. It definitely seems like they inexplicably go away from what is working and have this core set of plays on offense that they keep going to in lieu of what works. The defense, unfortunately, is what it is. We were blessed with elite safety play for a very long time and those safeties made this defense go. Clearly they have hit the wall and Rapp doesn’t look great either. This offense is going to have to score 30+ to win these games against good teams. It seems like they still can, but are really struggling with doing things that work. As someone mentioned earlier in this thread, McDermott always seems to find a way out of these funks. Even though he was in year one, that historically bad stretch in 2017 had people calling for his job. It’s hard to believe that team mad the playoffs after that. The 2021 team that was 7-6 also seemed dead in the water. We will see if he still has answers to turn this around, because this team not making the playoffs seemed unfathomable.
  17. Joseph pitching Burrow 5 yards back into the backfield on that QB sneak was huge.
  18. Sources from deep within have confirmed that high level business meetings occurred… FACT!
  19. Gugny, my good friend, you are spot on per usual! It seems the way teams have to play Josh by committing personnel deep to stop the big play, staying in lanes so he doesn’t take off running for 40 yards himself, etc. leaves a lot of room for these short to intermediate routes. He checked it down to Murray once in the Miami game and he took it for 20 yards up the sideline. The pass he floated over to Cook damn near went all the way. If Josh keeps taking those plays, it’s close to impossible to beat this team.
  20. Unbelievably heartbreaking for Tre. As great as yesterday was, it sure put a huge damper on it. These guys had to be looking forward to finally getting everyone on the field at the same time with Tre, Von, Micah, Poyer, etc. It's such a shame for Tre... it's gotta be brutal to finally get all the way back and have to start over again with this type of thing.
