With Seattle losing Metcalf and Lockett - Golden would make a lot of sense here.
-
Will Johnson, Matthew Golden, and Derrick Harmon stil there. One of the three might be able to fall within reach of us and if you can get one of them, even if you have to move up a few - do it. Any would be a big win. Especially the first two.
-
Grant and Nolen down by 16. Harmon going higher than hoped seems likey.
-
Lots of reaches happening. Keep 'em coming. This is how someone who shouldn't be there for us falls within reach.
-
Ouch. Grant at 12. And to the Dolphins. That hurts.
-
San Fran already has their pick in too.
-
And then they started.... Running Back 🥁
-
Mason Graham is a safe pick. But kind of a surprise in the Top 5.

Bills Related Draft News & DiscussionBillsFanForever19 replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall We're not talking about Revel. We're talking about Will Johnson.

This is what I was talking about in the ridiculous "Trade up to 2" thread when people were arguing trade packages to move to 2 from 30. They just paid 2 1st's, a 2nd, and a 4th to move up THREE picks. You can throw out the trade chart if you want that pick.

Great trade for Cleveland. Jacksonville doing Jacksonville things.

Bills Related Draft News & DiscussionBillsFanForever19 replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall His injury isn't expected to have him not ready by Week 1. The question is how much of the offseason does he miss and how will missed time in Training Camp (if that happens) effect his ability to start Week 1? Especially with a conservative with (most) Rookies coach like McDermott. You're entitled to your opinion. But I think it's a severely flawed mindset to say you'd take a lesser player that can play right away as opposed to a consensus Top 10 talent that may or may not be ready by Week 1. Johnson isn't a situation of a player that's expected to miss significant time in his Rookie year. He might just have to play a little catch up. This is the type of player we shouldn't be able to sniff. If you can get a potentially Elite talent in the 20's and have him under a Rookie deal for 4 years simply bc he's not 100% on Draft Day and may or may not be ready Week 1 - you jump at that opportunity, where we're picking.

Bills Related Draft News & DiscussionBillsFanForever19 replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall He'd be a Top 10 selection without the medical. And his injury isn't expected to make him miss time in season. It could make him miss some of the offseason though. But we do have veteran options in White and Jackson that could hold the fort for a little while until he gets up to speed. And in the long term, you've brought a Top 10 type talent to the team. I don't think you should take a lesser talent bc they're available right away at Rookie Mini Camp and Training Camp as opposed to a guy of greater talent bc they might not be ready Week 1 of their Rookie season.

Bills Related Draft News & DiscussionBillsFanForever19 replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall What has Will Johnson all of a sudden slipping by prognosticators? It seemed to me like up until less than a week ago, he was a given to go in like the top 12 picks. But over the past few days, more and more Draft people have him within reach of us or outright falling to us. Did people start hearing things or something?

Bills Related Draft News & DiscussionBillsFanForever19 replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall If we get to around 28 and we're still standing pat, the board isn't falling right, and Jaxson Dart is on the board - I pretty much expect we're trading out to them.

Bills Related Draft News & DiscussionBillsFanForever19 replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall It's wild to me how much talk is floating around about Malaki Starks. EVERYONE who covers the Bills is pushing the idea that the Bills may do it and talking about the merits or pitfalls of doing so. It makes me wonder how we've gotten here. Did Bills brass float something out there? Is it a smokescreen?

Probably nothing, but Bills trade "proposal"BillsFanForever19 replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Definitely nothing. This is the equivalent of a journalist doing what posters do here. There's a million and a half "what if?" clickbait articles based on a journalist floating out an idea of a trade or signing that they think would be a good idea this time of the year. This is nothing more than that.

Bills Related Draft News & DiscussionBillsFanForever19 replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall You spam post "Cook and 30 for 12" as if you think the more times you post it, the less ridiculous it will be...

Bills Related Draft News & DiscussionBillsFanForever19 replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall Yeah, i've noticed that too. Lots of Bills media hyping up the idea of Drafting Starks at 30 today. It's just a little off. Round 1 (30) + Round 4 (109) + Round 6 (177) = 234 pts. Pick 24 = 237 pts. Would probably need to throw in Round 6 (206) as well (4 pts.). 30, 109, and 206 is a perfectly even trade for #25 at 230 pts. though and would allow us to keep 177. https://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart-Rich-Hill.asp

They'd need to have the 2nd Pick in the Draft to be in a position to have "these two players in front of them". Which as you said, has no chance of happening. But if we did, in my opinion - it's Hunter. He's elite at both WR and CB. While no one is playing 100% of the snaps on both Offense and Defense, he could have a base position and still play packages on the other side of the ball. And he can switch base position where needed when there's injuries. Given both are positions of need for us, I value the need for Playmakers on Offense more than most, and that it's a Defensive Line Draft - I'd go Hunter and then address Edge on Day 2. But you really can't go wrong either way. To me, they're the 2 best players in this class and by a pretty big margin.

He's sitting out Voluntary OTA's. This isn't shocking and was pretty much expected. And Beane doesn't have a problem with it. The last report from Schefter is he's unhappy about his contract (obviously) but will play for us this year. If something changes and he decides to hold out during mandatory practices or games, it's worth revisiting then. But the outrage over this reads like people who want him traded using it as a reason to do so. The reality is, nothing's changed. We all expected this.

What is your draft doomsday scenario?BillsFanForever19 replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall Adam Schefter's take that we could spend 30 on a LB with Milano and Dorian on the roster.
