Didn't they just fire Scott Bertchold as Head of Communications and hire Derek Boyko? So if we have a new head of PR - why are we bringing in a PR coach? Seems unnecessary.

I think he could get 6 million a year. ... by playing at a high level and reaching performance bonus' that would be written into his deal.

So back to what I said in the beginning - he was using us for leverage to where he really wants to go. Never made sense to "take a visit" with the team he was just with. Unless he wanted other teams to know about it.

Yeah but in the NFL - they have incentive laden contracts to counteract that. Which is almost certain to be the type of contract he would get from us. You wanna get paid? You produce. You don't produce? You won't get paid much. Simple.

Like I said - no guarantee. And no guarantee that even if he does get clearance that he'll be the same guy out of the gate. Just saying I wouldn't base much off anything involving him. They could be bringing him back but not counting on him much.

Koa Misi is coming off back to back IR seasons. Last year it was for a Neck Injury. There's no guarantee he even passes a physical. I wouldn't read anything into his restructuring.

@mikerodak: Bills have ~$10 million in cap space, per NFLPA public report. Current $10.9M figure does not include Andre Holmes Squeezing ZB in there and having the money for Draft Picks and UDFA's seems daunting. And don't forget about Gillislee.

I'm almost positive that's what's going on. But by saying he'll be visiting us after Miami - he's essentially saying "Your the last stop. if you can't beat Buffalo's offer, i'll see you twice a year". When have you ever heard a player 'take a visit' from the team he was just playing with a couple months ago? I hope i'm wrong. But my gut's telling me this is for leverage and he'll sign with Miami.

I worry that he's using us for leverage with Miami. When a former player goes back to his old team, it generally just gets announced as a done deal after they've taken other visits. I find it odd that they're making a point to say he'll 'visit' us after he visits Miami. It reads to me like he's saying "Buffalo's got the best offer. Beat it and i'm yours".

Would not surprise me in the least if they went into the year with the WR depth chart looking like - Sammy Watkins Andre Holmes 'Philly' Brown Kolby Listenbee Brandon Tate Especially if they were to draft O.J. Howard to pair with Charles Clay.

Wouldn't shock me at all to see them go into the year with Sammy Watkins, Andre Holmes, 'Philly' Brown, and Kolby Listenbee as their top 4 WR's.

I think you're underselling him. I'm pretty sure Holmes is our WR2. And it's pretty hilarious to me that everyone's worried about WR. Then we sign a good one and everyone's worried about the comp picks.
