You know Stefon Diggs and DeAndre Hopkins can't be on the field every single play, right? And there are these things called injuries that happen sometimes. One of the biggest problems we had last season is we didn't have any depth behind Diggs and Davis. When Davis got dinged up, we we're trotting out Jake frickin' Kumerow. The harshest critics of Davis state he was a failure when he was our #2 last year and that we need an upgrade there. Some of them flat out want him gone. I think returning him to the #3 role in which he flourished is what's best for him.

And how exactly does Kincaid taking snaps out of the Slot effect Stefon Diggs, DeAndre Hopkins, and Gabe Davis on the Outside? Why can't Gabe Davis be the 3rd Outside WR? Seems like you just want Davis off the team.

What are you talking about? We only have 5 WR's on this team and we just took a TE at 27.

Dying at all the posters who read Michael Mayer is Gronk 2.0 and fell in love simply off of that and parrot the comparison to say we chose the wrong TE. Dalton Kincaid was the top TE in the class.

The dream is still alive. Especially after Baltimore selected Zay Flowers and we didn't take a WR at 27. Now if KC takes a WR at 31 and we don't take a WR in Round 2 - the dream is REALLY alive.

If that's the case, Beane should see if he can move up to secure Jordan Addison. Would really be trash if with the way the board was falling, 3 of the top 4 WR's went all in a row.

Damn, between the Cardinals GM saying they won't be trading Hopkins this weekend, Darnell Wright going at 10, and now Jack Campbell being picked at 18 - hearts breaking all over this board.

Because you're not going to take a guy in Round 1 and then trade for Hopkins, making your 1st Round pick a #3 for years to come. Not with the holes, upgrades, and players who are FA's after this season (including the ENTIRE DT room) - and the finances it would take to get Hopkins when we already have Diggs and a 1st Rounder to go with Davis, Harty, Sherfield, and Shakir.

The problem with this is if Hopkins isn't moved during the Draft, Beane is going to take a WR and probably high. In which case, Hopkins will be out. Beane isn't going to pass on the position hoping he can get a deal done with Hopkins after. He could be left empty handed and at best, in a poor negotiating position.

It could. But it could just as easily be a Trade that's done tomorrow. I was replying to someone who was saying that if it doesn't happen in the next couple hours - it won't happen until much later, possibly into the season.

The reported asking price is a 2nd Plus. The 2nd Round doesn't start until tomorrow.

I'm confused by the Titans trade on a number of levels. Arizona is giving Tennessee #3 and Hopkins and getting #11? Like what else is involved from Tennessee's end?

I mean one of the Top 4 Prospects. Do you have a Crystal Ball? You don't know who will or will not exceed expectations.

I'm going to lose it if we Draft a premier WR prospect in Round 1 and everyone is upset because they're not Hopkins.

Get off that. All Miller has said is Hopkins wants to be here and he'd love to see it. But if Beane determined the price was too great and/or prefers a long term cost controlled deal with a Rookie - it is what it is. This fatalist Hopkins or Nothing mentality is ridiculous. A 1st Round WR could turn out to be better for us than Hopkins would be. You don't know. It already has and it's embarrassing.

You won't be ecstatic - that's not happening. We have too many needs to trade a 1st and a 3rd at WR. Especially when we already have a Top 5 WR on this team. Especially since the financials it would cost to make Hopkins work would mean we'd have to fill all other needs exclusively in the Draft. This isn't Fantasy Football or Madden. It's Flowers or Hopkins. It cannot and will not be both.
