  1. I like when people put their crazy ideas at the top of a super long post. Saves me the time of reading all that.
  2. How in the hell did he convince the Browns to give up the first pick in Round 3 AND pick up the 6 million bonus?! Sensational!
  3. I really want to see a trade up just to see Hapless Bills Fan's head explode. This is at least the third post i've seen you make voting down on the idea.
  4. I'd love to have this conversation. After we draft a Quarterback.
  5. No shot on Ragnow. But we matched Ryan Groy's offer sheet to keep him for a reason. I don't like the idea of spending a 2nd on a Center when we have Groy on the roster.
  6. Just posted on Twitter: @JeremyWGR: Twitter trade offer - Bills #21, #22, Dion Dawkins, and next years 2nd round pick to NYG for #2. Who says no? Ittakestime - are you Jeremy White?
  7. We wouldn't be able to trade Vontae Davis. But Tre'Davious White could probably get us another first!
  8. I hope that IF McBeane were thinking of bringing him back that this gives them pause. Let him walk. I'd rather gamble on a mid round pick or FA than settle for Preston Brown's production at MLB.
  9. Yeah, he traded Bledsoe to us. Because he felt like he was on the downslope and damaged goods. So, yes, Belichick would trade us Gronk. If he felt Gronk was a broken down horse. In which case - why would you want him?
  10. This is silly. Even if he was on the market (which he isn't) - they would NEVER trade him to a division rival.
  11. Preston Brown stays on the field. Never ever gets hurt. ... that's about the extent of my Preston Brown positivity. Honestly don't care if he stays or goes. Dude's JAG.
  12. Johnson was more than adequate at Nickel. When Tre, Gaines, and LJ were on the field - it was a no fly zone. The problems occurred when Wright would have to fill in for EJ. Which was too often for my liking.
  13. 100% this - good call. And if Vontae goes off and leaves, we'll get a comp from him. Spotrac puts Gaines' value at 9.3 mil a year. Neither he nor Vontae Davis is signing on to be the first Corner off the bench. Especially not on the open market, which is always hungry for CB's. I liked what I saw when Gaines played. But he was injured WAY too often. I don't understand why some people are heartbroken over losing him.
  14. E.J. Gaines is GONE. There were rumblings that he was going to leave here as soon as his contract was up. Tre White even implied as much on Gaines' IG at the end of the year. The signing of Vontae guarantees that they're moving on. All of the analysts agree. If you think Vontae Davis, who had multiple options, is anything but a Gaines replacement - you're in denial. https://buffalofootballbeat.com/2018/02/01/poyer-white-comment-on-ej-gaines-posted-photo-suggesting-bills-departure/
  15. I can deal with him being the bridge for one more season. What I won't be able to deal with is if we keep him and then don't draft Rosen, Darnold, Mayfield, Allen, or Jackson. That would be unacceptable.
  16. So basically - they're gonna pay the $6 mil so the team trading for him will only pay the $10 mil base salary. Cheaper deal makes him more attractive. And they can't very well move a player that everyone knows will be cut. This changes nothing IMO.
  17. Looks pretty good in recent history with Carson Wentz, Jared Goff, Marcus Mariota, and Jameis Winston...
  18. I like Josh Allen. ... if Josh Rosen, Sam Darnold, and Baker Mayfield are off the board. And we're picking him in the 12-21 range.
  19. According to thebuffalofanatics Instagram page - the Bills are shopping LeSean McCoy. They claim they "dug deep" and "spoke to a source close to the situation". I don't buy it. At his age and contract number, the return would be minimal for our best player on Offense. But a lot of people take them with their close to 50k followers as gospel. If they did move him, I would be furious. I think it would be a terrible decision. What say you?
  20. I wasn't saying that's what he does on EVERY play. What I was saying was that a QB could have 100% completion pct by dumping it off on every single play. And as such, that stat is pretty flawed. Especially if you're trying to say it pertains to a throwers accuracy. No, Tyrod doesn't dump off every play. But I think you'd be fooling yourself if you thought that a lot of those "passes" weren't Shady picking up chunks after the touch. And let's be honest - he's not throwing the ball unless a guy is sitting in his route and staring at him. So his completion percentage and lack of INT's is of no surprise and worth very little to me.
  21. I know this was 5 pages ago - but this statement couldn't be anymore wrong. A guy could throw 100% of his passes two feet in front of him and as long as the RB doesn't drop it; he'd have 100% completion percentage. Which, honestly, isn't far off from what Taylor does. Completion percentage has ZERO barring on accuracy.
  22. Yes and I don't care when! In my opinion, all of the trading we did for picks was to accure capital to FINALLY select a Franchise QB they believe in. Just like the Eagles did. And the Rams. And the Bucs. And the Titans. It worked out great for all of them. But somewhere along the way, everyone has become obsessed with keeping every pick. If we don't trade up, we're not going to get one of the top 4 guys. Simple as that.
  23. I think this franchise would sooner turn to Josh McCown or Sam Bradford/Case Keenum with Peterman and another draft pick. I don't think us missing out on Cousins and Smith changes a thing re: Tyrod.
  24. If it makes you feel any better, you'll never know if it does happen. Whomever they pick - they're gonna say it was THE guy they fell in love with during the draft process. Even if he really was their 3rd choice, who would ever admit it?
