  1. I'm not sure. But I'm pretty sure Kenny Stills and Devonta Freeman wouldn't have signed to the Practice Squad if we retained their rights beyond the Playoffs. Gotta imagine they protected themselves in some way to be Free Agents at the end of the year even if that were the case. We could always bring them back to a new contract at the end of the year if both sides were agreeable and I'll admit I'm a layman when it comes to the exact rules. But I'd be shocked if these guys signed on to possibly be Practice Squad players long term. They're hired guns.
  2. This post is just weird. I don't think anyone's going to condemn your boss or give you a high five for getting fired for the game. Nor do I think anyone's going to read about it and think you're any bigger of a fan for it. Thanks for sharing, I guess?
  3. Yeah, no. I don't see that happening. I don't even see them playing Antonio Williams over T.J. Yeldon. Sitting their Pro Bowl KR for the first time in two years during the biggest Bills game in over a half century doesn't sound like a part of "The Process" to me.
  4. What a strange, strange world we live in where Devonta Freeman and Kenny Stills are members of the Buffalo Bills Practice Squad.
  5. Precautionary in the event Cole can't go. Though I think I'd still prefer bringing up Kenny Stills on a couple days of practice over Duke freakin' Williams.
  6. There's more than a few extenuating circumstances when it comes to Darnold. He has, at times, looked the part. While I'm not guaranteeing a change of scenery will completely change the script - I'm also not willing to say that he was a sure fire Palmer failure, at this point.
  7. He didn't officially visit until Friday night with a game less than two days away. Beane doesn't make anything official until all the i's are dotted and the t's are crossed and he has to have a physical and pass COVID protocols. Given all that, I didn't expect any announcement until Monday at the earliest.
  8. I don't count ESPN as "hate". Every single one of their shows is CNN v. Fox News sharing a channel. They clearly go out of their way to have debates and half the time I don't believe that the person debating their points actually believes said points.
  9. "Real Deal" might be pushing it. That said, it seems like every week we're playing teams when they're starting to get hot and/or healthier. It's getting old quick.
  10. With John Brown out a minimum of 3 weeks - I'm more open to the idea of putting in a claim for Stills. But I doubt he makes it to our waiver priority.
  11. I'd *consider* trading him for Kyler Murray or Joe Burrow straight up. But that's about it and I'd probably still not pull the trigger. Patrick Mahomes comes with a contract that would decimate our salary cap. Russell Wilson is the same plus over 6 extra years of wear and tear on the tires.
  12. One name that I remember being incredibly excited we signed was Lawyer Milloy. He was a shock cut less than a week before Week 1 of the season, signed here a few days before the game, and then played a big role in us defeating his former team New England 31-0.
  13. One of these things is not like the other. One of these things just *doesn't* belong.
  14. They wouldn't use an elevation and then make him inactive and waste it. No way you'll see them ever do that. On the ST point - I have to imagine he at least plays some as a fringe WR. Though I don't know his proficiency.
  15. With all of our WR's healthy and injuries elsewhere - it's a bit of a head scratcher to activate Jake Kumerow this week. Though I am interested to see him play. Will they have 7 active WR's on gameday or does someone take a seat?
  16. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Vic Beasley more of 3-4 Pass Rushing OLB than a 4-3 OLB?
  17. With the Active Roster sitting at 52 with one open spot and the Practice Squad maxed at 17, there's gonna be a lot of cuts coming up: - Have to open a spot on the 53 for CB Levi Wallace - Have to open a spot on the 53 for LB Del'Shawn Phillips - Have to open a spot on the 53 or Practice Squad for LB Darron Lee - Have to open a spot on the 53 for TE Dawson Knox when he comes off the COVID List - Have to open a spot on the Practice Squad for TE Nate Becker when he comes off the COVID List - Potentially have to open a spot on the 53 or Practice Squad for CB Daryl Worley - Have to open a spot on the 53 for LB Tyrel Dodson following the bye
  18. No way they'd trade an impact player to a division rival. Only way that's possibly happening is if they have no other options, we're offering substantially more than anyone else, and/or Williams makes it known if he's cut he's coming here anyways. All of these seem pretty unlikely to me.
  19. Odd considering I think we're all expecting Jon Feliciano to be activated to the 53. Assumed they'd just use Spain's roster spot for him. Now do they release Boettger or something?
  20. Just think of it this way - Bell will replace what we've gotten from Zack Moss and T.J. Yeldon in his place. Either they redshirt Moss with his toe or Yeldon is released and moved to the Practice Squad. They'd roll with Bell and Singletary on game day and I don't think Singletary's carries would change all that much.
  21. How did I know that when two thirds of Bell's final 3 choices were the Bills and Dolphins that Belichick would jump in? 😑
  22. Yes, he can't come up from the Practice Squad anymore. He has to be signed to the roster. Which is what I was alluding to. It's a "week to week" sprain. But he was on crutches in the locker room - so I doubt it's minor. Yes, they cut him from the 53 to put Norman on. He then cleared waivers and was signed to our Practice Squad. This makes him ineligible to be called up unless signed to the 53. Which is why I'd expect Levi to go on IR.
  23. I'd expect Levi and Milano to land on IR for 3 weeks. Imagine Deon Lacey and Cam Lewis are elevated. Will be interesting to see if they sign anyone of interest to the Practice Squad following those moves.
  24. He's good when he's on the field and 100% Problem is, he's often off the field or on it less than 100% Still have time to come back and have a good season. But I'm starting to wonder if we should offer him a contract after this season or not. That thought wasn't there before.
  25. Nope, found the tweet I was referring to. Cam Lewis is ineligible to be promoted, unless straight to the 53. ... which, in retrospect, may be the case as Levi moving to IR for at least 3 weeks is very likely.
