  1. He's not returning to Washington. They franchised him two years in a row already and he wouldn't sign a long term deal with them either year. If he wouldn't do it over those two years, I don't see him doing it now. And the third year Franchise Tag is EXTREMELY expensive and prohibitive. He'll be signing elsewhere. Would love to have him, but it would cost a FORTUNE. And with the Line looking as good as it did with Ryan Bates, I'd use that kind of money elsewhere. Tender Bates, restructure Daryl Williams as he was signed as a Tackle and is now playing Guard, and add some top tier depth.
  2. A lot of work is going to be done to the Receiving Core with Emmanuel Sanders and Isaiah McKenzie Free Agents, Emmanuel possibly retiring and Isaiah sounding gone. Cole most likely also being gone unless he does a complete restructure. Need another Tight End. Knox took a step forward but we have literally nothing else there. Same thing can be said about the RB position. Singletary stepped up at the end of the season. But we're nowhere with Zack Moss and Matt Breida's a FA, probably one and done. Need something else there. Rousseau showed promise, but he's not a Game Changer yet. Epenesa's JAG and Basham was a healthy scratch most of the season. All 3 will be here, but lacking a stud, and with Hughes, Addison, and Obada are all FA's - The Defensive End position needs another overhaul. With the lack of FA's at the position and having gone the drafting route taking 3 1st or 2nd rounders in the past two years, i'd be looking at who's available in the Trade market. Losing Tre White proved that having only one stud CB is not enough. Especially to compete against Mahomes and the Chiefs. Levi isn't that and he's a FA. Need to try and upgrade the CB position. Long story short, a lot more work needs to be done than people realize. It's going to be a very interesting offseason. One in which Beane has no choice but to be much more active than he was in 2021.
  3. 🙄 OP over here doing his best Mr. Perfect impression.
  4. Regardless of how anyone feels about the trade around here, the 25th pick in the 1st and 2nd Round + Greg Rousseau is not enough capital to acquire the 1st overall pick. Draft Value Chart has the #1 Pick at 3000 pts. The 25th pick is worth 720 pts. and the 57th pick is worth 330 pts. Greg Rousseau alone does not make up the remaining 1950 pts.
  5. Is there an option for just "No"? I don't want him. He's old and beaten down and I think he only came back for Brady so he'll probably be retiring anyways. Knox had a good season. But he's still dropping the ball more than I'd like and I think we need more than just him at that position. I'd like to add one of the many TE's available. Sign me up for Knox along with Mike Gesicki, Robert Tonyan, Dalton Schulz, David Njoku, Evan Engram, Zach Ertz, or O.J. Howard.
  6. He is making probably just as much, if not more, money being THE QB guru to the stars without the stress, the insane hours, or the travel. Also, he can teach a QB how to improve his fundamentals - but that doesn't mean he can game plan or play call. He's never coached a game of football in his life. He could be a position coach. But an NFL OC with zero prior experience? This is a 'no' every way you can look at it.
  7. Why would we take an Offensive Tackle when we have Dion Dawkins and Spencer Brown? We're not going to move either to the bench and we're not going to spend a 1st on depth.
  8. I think it's possible Sanders returns. Especially if he has a big game tomorrow or in possible future games (though I'm not counting my chickens before they hatch). Could definitely see him wanting to come back and not breaking the bank. Beasley isn't happening unless he takes a total restructure. They can save over 6 million in cap space releasing him. Could most likely bring back both McKenzie and Sanders (and maybe have a little left over) with that money
  9. I think Hunter Henry and Jonnu Smith are very good TE's. Was kind of shocked they didn't do more this season, especially having a Rookie QB under center. Paying out the ass for Nelson Agholar and Kendrick Bourne... I didn't get it then and I don't get it now. How Belichick looked at the market of Free Agent WR's and decided those were the two to get and pay what they paid is mind boggling.
  10. Josh Allen is patterned after Shawn Michaels, who many consider the best performer of all time. I'll take it.
  11. He was Cleveland's punter from 2019 until a couple weeks ago, he has a cool nickname, and he's not Matt Haack.
  12. Somewhere The Scottish Hammer is smiling because he knows his number's getting called.
  13. Elevate The Scottish Hammer for the Playoffs - Haack is a Hack.
  14. Yeah, I definitely see us letting that many players walk and not replace them just so we can get mid round picks we won't be able to use until after the following season 🙄
  15. Vegetable jokes aside, who's "kale"? I haven't heard of a Kale on the squad and there's no one listed on the Bills site by that name. Or are you just randomly proclaiming your love for the food?
  16. I think at this point, McKenzie isn't not returning kickoffs because they think Stevenson is better. Now I think it's a matter of them seeing more importance in him as a WR and not wanting to risk an injury returning kicks heading into the Playoffs.
  17. I've been pleased with Tre'Davious White, Josh Allen, Dion Dawkins, Ed Oliver, and Greg Rousseau. No one bats a thousand and the hits outweigh the misses. Especially when you take into account the mid round success.
  18. Why? Because he's getting old, beat up, and has been largely ineffective this season. Not to mention his being fined 6 digits for habitually not following league rules (which could have contributed to other issues with this team) and continues to be a giant distraction, going out of his way to publicly feed the media fodder. When we needed him the most, his "personal choice" made him unavailable to us. But, MOST importantly, as opposed to this season where it would cost us more to cut him than keep him, we would save $6.1 million dollars in cap space by releasing him next season. When you need a lot of help at other positions and guys need to be cut to make cap space - he seems a no brainer. Especially when you're getting the production we're getting out of Diggs and Davis and Sanders and McKenzie are both free agents. Of which, you can pay both (or their replacements) less than that $6.1 million and have more left over for other positions that are less stacked. Would you rather have Cole Beasley or McKenzie and Sanders plus more? Again, no brainer.
  19. This will forever be known as "The Isaiah McKenzie Game"
  20. He's lost a step with age and injuries. He has never run routes with Stefon Diggs or Emmanuel Sanders. The playbook is undoubtedly different now than it was when he was here. And he bashed the front office on the way out. It's not gonna happen.
  21. There's gotta be a better way to get that point across than by saying if it were up to him, he'd play while sick, full well knowing he was infecting others
  22. With a Brown-Boettger-Morse-Ford-Williams lineup, he can't afford to sit in the pocket for long. And yet, he keeps trying to.
