  1. Ugh! So true. That was the day the music died for the Bills even though we didnt know it at the time., My gosh if we had just fired that clown Littman instead of Polian how different the last 30 years would have been.
  2. Jake butt That is all lol
  3. I read somewhere that his ceiling was like boldin which is awesome. Gotta find that article that compared him and boldin
  4. LOVE this pick! Now take jake butt at 75 and I will be thrilled
  5. I'd love to see Jake Butt in the 3rd round as well tbh.
  6. Zay Jones, JuJu Smith-Schuster or Cunningham
  7. The OP is flat out wrong. This is where McDermott came from. http://buffalonews.com/2017/01/27/polian-couldnt-happier-bills-choice-mcdermott/ And if Polian loves the hire, which he does, I'm willing to give McDermott the benefit of the doubt. Polian has forgotten more football than the OP ever knew.
  8. Very well said. I feel the exact same way. If we could have paired last years offense with the Schwarz led defense of 3 years ago, we would definitely have been a playoff team. I'm really hoping McDermott gets this and simplifies the defense while retaining the offensive philosophy that help us produce last year. TT's best game as a pro came when the season was on the line in Miami. He was fantastic all game. I'm really looking forward to see him build off that game and take the next step as a QB.
  9. When Gilly routinely gashes us for 100 Plus yards next December, this thread is gonna be real ugly. The 2nd round tender should have been used and this thread doesnt exist.
  10. I disagree. Tyrod looked fantastic against Miami with the season on the line. Left the field with the lead. He progressed throughout the year and got better and better (maybe because Sammy got healthier and healthier?). But I really want to see his next year of development.
  11. 3-5 drinks a day after work. Generally a beer or two and then a scotch or two.
  12. This would certainly be an impact move and would solidify the secondary....hopefully for years. Would love to see a 4 year deal here.
  13. Smith-Schuster or Zay Jones in Round 2 would be fine in my book, if a guy we really love drops to 10.
  14. Solid move! And maybe gave us some cap room in the process.
  15. This is ridiculous. I'm trying to read a thread about RTs. And I have 57 posts about Gillmore to ignore. Can you PLEASE stick the Gillmore posts in their own thread and argue all you want about it there? Leave this thread alone for RTs.
  16. Meh...I been here since the beginning anyway and rarely went there. Honestly, they made a big mistake. Not everyone uses all the social media. I'm not going to be able to get any analysis from social media...certainly not like a message board. And thats what I come here for. If I want to see a cool pic, I'll go to IG. Very shortsighted by the Bills.
  17. He left the game vs Miami with the lead and "saved" the season. He played his best game as a Bill in that game. I was hoping he would get another chance to build upon that success. Looks like he will. Sometimes QBs need to be "developed" and I think he is developing quite nicely. Lets get a RT and a WR in FA/draft and roll.
  18. You mean the potential season saving game vs Miami when he left the field in the 4th quarter with the lead after driving his team down the field for the potential winning TD? Too bad Rex's defense could do squat. IF we had Schwartz's defense with Greg Roman's offense the last two years we would have made the playoffs both years.
  19. Iceland is AWESOME! Rekjavik is a very fun party town. The people are friendly and I thought the food was pretty good. Iceland Air runs specials all the time where they will give you a free hotel room if you book a "stopover" flight to mainland Europe. Since I cant stand sitting on a plane for more than 5-6 hours, thats how I always go to Europe. Stopover in Rekjavik each way. Sometimes I have to pay for the hotel myself if the airline is not running a special, but its still a very good deal.
  20. We need a head football coach. The best one available is in college. Offer $15-20 million a year and full personnel control and bring Nick Saban to Buffalo. Get it right this time. Hire the best.
  21. Great watch. I love Roman. I remember reading where one of the talking heads at TBN called his offense "antiquated." Well, I believe in zigging when everyone else is sagging in life and that philosophy has served me well. I think it will serve the Bills well too.
  22. I LOVED reading this Q&A...we may have FINALLY found ourselves a QB. If we have a QB, we will have a chance in every game. He sounds poised, confident and certainly seems to be working hard. Color me truly optimistic for the first time in a loooong time.
  23. I have stayed at this resort and sat on this very beach. Its a little sand/beach area along the lakefront. Maybe 5 feet wide of sand. Its very shallow along the edge. It seems, from what I read, that the parents were closeby and watching the child waiting for the fireworks show to begin. Its a common place to watch the fireworks. There was a No Swimming sign posted but nothing about gators when I was there. The problem may be that the gator may have been too used to people. Not having a natural fear of humans (maybe because the gator was hand fed at some point) meant this gator just waltzed up and saw an easy meal. I cannot imagine anything more horrific to happen to a family. My prayers go out to them.
  24. If you use baseball as a guide (the only other sport where the bats/balls can be tinkered with to gain an advantage), he should be suspended. Pitchers are suspended all the time for doctoring baseballs, similarly hitters with corked bats. Most suspensions for this sort of thing in baseball is 8-10 games....not much considering the season is 162 games. Now the NFL doesn't want to look soft here and the Pats* are repeat offenders in rule bending, so I think Brady gets 4 games with it being reduced on appeal to 2 games. Just my gut feeling.
  25. Mathis was described in one article I read as excelling at zone blocking. I dont think Roman's scheme uses zone blocking, more straight ahead mauling from what I know about it (which I admit is very limited). I want a G or T as much as anyone and believe it would be the prefect cherry to a great offseason. But I want a guy who fits our scheme seamlessly if thats possible.
