We've already allocated a ton of resources to the d-line, and it hasn't made a difference in the playoffs against KC. It didnt make a difference against Brady either when we tried that same strategy. Just try to outscore them.
We didnt have the right players. A dominant D-line is how the Giants beat Brady in 2 SBs.

You sure about that? I'm pretty sure Woj will drop a bomb when he gets a top 35 recruit to commit to St. Bona....lol

His name is John W. Burns. You cannot make that up
Does the "W" stand for "Watch It"?

Yeah, we will definitely be in the room when it's time.
I had to put my other Lab down about 10 years ago (cancer) and was with her the whole time.......she stared at me, looked off into space, and fell asleep for the last time. It was peaceful as hell for both of us.
Same w my husky. I held her head, she stared at me, I kissed her as the needle went in. She looked at me, let her head down in my hands and went to sleep. Peaceful for her. For me...well I was a wreck the whole drive home.
And yes, worst part of pet ownership by a country mile.

I love this approach. I also think it was necessary last year given that Brady took over a listing ship midseason...simply to what we do well and take it from there. Worked wonderfully.
And I do believe that Brady is a great offensive mind. And he had all offseason to develop a plan with these players. Its gonna be a good plan we see this season (I hope Im right).

Could be the beginning of the end for franchises like the Bills, Bengals. Etc.
I actually think the opposite. Permitting the sales of minority interests in the teams will enable the asset-rich owners to get some cash and properly do some estate planning. Given the valuations of teams (which will only rise), the number of potential majority owners is tiny. And those mega billionaires could buy/move teams wherever they wish. At least this way, there is at least a chance a team could be passed down through the family.
Most teams that are passed down like the Giants and Steelers have trusts that were established before the skyrocketing valuations so the mechanisms are already in place. The Bills do not have that. So, unless we find another Terry Pegula in 15 or so years, we could be in some trouble. This would allow Terry to create a trust, pay the taxes now and pass the Bills to his daughter if he so chooses.

Hello - hoping to find the Bills Backers bar in Burlington VT for my son who just started attending UVM. The Facebook page doesnt seem to specify which bar is the official backers bar. Any info is much appreciated. Thanks!

Short version of a speech I have long admired...

I saw a very interesting interview with matt Damon a few months back (can't find it now). He said that the rise of streaming services as a replacement for the DVD had an outsized impact on the type of movies that can be made. Movies now have to make all their money in the first month or two because there is no second bite at the apple when the DVD is released. So studios are betting more and more on sure things like Marvel etc and the independent films just don't get made. Was a great interview.
And IMHO, the best movie made in the last 10 years was Top Gun Maverick. Which, for me, is up there with Rocky 2, Godfather 2 and Empire Strikes Back as greatest sequels of all time.

I would have loved to if I got some type of really cool bond certificate to frame and hang on the wall in the man cave. Seems like a missed opportunity here for the Bills to create a really cool piece of memorabilia.

Not the end of the world. Hear me out...
We won 11 games without him last year and got the 2 seed.
I wasnt certain his leg was 100% anyway yet. This gives the leg more time to heal.
If he can make it back early- mid December, he gets a few games of reps and can be a playoff force especially against KC. He will be "fresh" from not having had to grind through a long season and can play as fast as possible.
And yes, I believe we make the playoffs without Milano at LB. He might be a difference makers versus KC in a playoff game tho...

The first one to Knox, scrambling and the TD toss when going out of bounds...
The frozen rope to Sanders to make it 34-3...
Finally driving the stake through the heart of the Patriots dynasty that tormented us for decades....glorious!
Now lets take it to Mahomes....

Bills had 54 sacks in 2023. 4th in the league.
And how many against Kansas City in the playoffs when it actually matters?
IDK if Reddick is the answer but "How to beat Kansas City in the playoffs" is certainly the question...

That sounds like a good option, until Patrick Mahomes is slicing up our secondary in another playoff game.
But whose secondary hasn't Mahomes sliced up? When given time, he is relatively unstoppable. So is Allen. The key to stopping Mahomes, IMHO, is pressure. And KC has a very good interior OL. Their tackles are suspect however.

Just a quick bump as the game is approaching for people to see the thread. Thanks in advance mods.

According to the LI Bills Backers page on Instagram, it is their new home. I was planning to check it out for the London game as options to watch at 9:30 AM on a Sunday are very limited at least on Long Island.
the NYC Bills Backers bar is showing the game in the city, but I was hoping to avoid the long train ride to Manhattan if anyone knew a closer spot.

The question is for people on Long Island. The regular Bills bar, Instant Replay in Huntington Station will NOT be showing the game. I just spoke with them.
is there any organized group going to or petitioning a bar to open for the game as of yet? I have spoken with a couple bars who may consider opening if I can promise enough people.
please post if there is some plan I may have missed.
thanks in advance

I will say to the original posters question that I forlornly miss the days when Mount Washington lined up next to Phat Pat and we dared any time
to run on us. We also had that guy named Bruce at DE. I could have been the other DE and we would have still be Axl Rose level rock star status on the d line. I wish we did more drafting and developing of nose tackles bc that ***** worked. Let the 2 big guys hold back 3 offensive linemen, plus a chipping rb or te and the Defensive ends fly toward the qb with the occasional blitzes to keep everyone honest.
im just gonna say…me likely very much!!!

Kielce, while a hall of famer, is really not the problem. The bills match up well with kc. And it’s 50/50 who wins a potential playoff game Between the two teams. The bigger problem imho, is that we match up badly w Cinci. And burrow with those wide receivers will be a huge problem the next 2 or 3 years. We gotta get better at the line of scrimmage and using tight coverage and if we get beat over the top on occasion, so be it. Cinci will paper cut us to death until they are in the end zone. Go bigger on offense to out score them w deandre and draft the best mlb you can to try and slow them down for first 10 yards after the los. (drew sanders is my choice) is the only way I can figure out to deal w it.
