Saw it with the wife and kids today. Enjoyed it very much. Not sure what you're looking for in a superhero movie. Not quite as good as Iron Man, but still a good summer movie.

I plan on telling them I am cancelling my NFL ticket package in the hope of them offering me the superfan package to keep it. Worth a try. I was pissed last year because I had my DVR set up to record the hi def Bills game after the trial period expired, and I missed a game. didn't know it was a trial period.

I'm giving Nutrisystem for Men a try this month, coupled with 3 days cardio and 3 days weight lifting. Today is day 1 in terms of the food. It's not bad. I lost 20 lbs on Atkins a few years ago, but it slowly crept back on. I think this will be more managable becasue I can eat the "good carbs" and the meals are more or less prepared already.

Bst show on TV. Season opener was a little heavy handed though.

I went to the Imax show yesterday. I don't think SR is cut out for 3D. The action scenes were a litle blurry becasue of the 3D effects, and it became an annoyance more than anything.

I'm glad he's dead, but if you want to turn this into spin, thanks to the Iraq war Zawahari was handed the opportunity and platform to kill thousands more people than he probably would have had the war not taken place. And somehow I don't think he'd be thinking about ways to kill Iraqis.

I saw it this afternoon. Nowhere near as bad as the critics were saying. If you have seen Equilibrium by the same director, you'll probably like this movie. I would bet that if Quentin Tarinto produced or directed the exact same movie that was released, the critics woud be calling it amazing and revolutionary.

Fair enough. For the record, my initial reaction is, god forbid, similar to Alaska Darin's in that it does not feel right or pass the smell test. I would be less apprehensive if it were not a government owned company. On face value, it would seem easier to me for someone with an agenda in a government owned company to infiltrate sensitive areas for "terrorist" activities. For that rason, I would not want a Pakistani government owned company to manage the ports. There are factions in that government that would rather help Bin laden than help us. Would you be okay with a Taliban owned company managing the ports? It would certainly give me pause.

It seemed like Haggans was offsides the whole game and never got flagged for it. On the phantom holdng call, he was across the line so fast it was ridiculous. I coudn't believe they didn't call offsides, let alone holding.
