  1. Fractures typically take 6-8 weeks depending on the type and how well aligned the fragments are. Milloy should be back soon and I think we all see how valuable he was/is to this team. You could actually make the argument that a healthy Milloy makes this team 3-1 instead of 0-4!
  2. Rudy looking at the schedule I thought the exact same thing. However, the Bills winning at the Jets will be very tough. But a good team has to prove they can win on the road and the Jets did not look so invincible last week against Miami. Also, we get Baltimore w/o J Lewis which is a huge break. Go Bills this week!
  3. TD interfered with every decision and that is why we're 0-3. He told Mularkey who to hire for every coaching job and even the janitors. I don't who told me this but it is a real good source from what I remember. I think it was somebody who once worked for the Bills
  4. 5.75 is a very good rate especially if no points. Here in Boston the housing market continues to skyrocket despite the so-called "bad" economy. I agree Melissa that if it is so bad then how come all the housing prices continue to rise. Someone is buying the homes and certainly not at a loss or a discount.
  5. Slight edge to Bush. Both got in some good shots, at least the parts that I saw. I was more interested in the Yankee game
  6. The O-line is actually playing fairly well and Losman will automatically make the line better. Remeber the awful O-line with RJ instantly became an O-line giving up one of the fewest sacks in the league once Flutie was in there. The Oline is not bad. They plowed over the Dline of the Pats. Two sacks given up prior to the flubbed 4th down play. One was a blitzing LB unblocked and the other Bledsoe tripping over an Olineman's shoe. Plus M Williams had Ty Warren for lunch--battle of the 1st round picks and MW won that one so that was good to see.
  7. Mahr is a complete lefty loon--Stewart although more left seems a lot more reasonable.
  8. Although the report released this week shows no stockpiles of WMD there were some other interesting findings for those more interested in more than just a headline. 1) Saddam was actually getting stronger by the sanctions and food for oil program putting away over 350 million in the same coffers that financed his WMD in the past. 2) He was going to wait it out another year or two and when the sanctions stopped was going to restart his WMD programs meaning he would be starting them about now. 3) Once restarted he'd have chemical weapons within a year 4) He wasn't going to go away 5) He even fooled his own intelligence agancy who thought Iraq had WMD 6) The world is better off without him in power 7) France, Germany and Russia were never going to go along with removing him because they were Saddam's allies not ours.
  9. My concern is that the Bills will be playing great weeks 10-16 and win their last 5-6 games in a row. The problem would be they'll have only won two games before that.
  10. As a fellow Cornellian I also remember Well's College.....all girls looking for a night out!
  11. Where are all of the posters who were calling for Milloy's head last year--a SS who led a defense to the number two defense in the league. Three TD drives by the Pats and big plays given up by Wire in all of them. He is a great person and good special teams player which is where he should be. When Milloy is gone you realize how good he is and how much he helps that defense by being in the right position. Missing Milloy has hurt this defense badly as evidenced by Sunday. When does he get back???
  12. Sorry to all the naysayers out there but TD is the GM. He has gotten good talent and yes I agree that Bledsoe will be gone after the end of this year but at the time he was our only decent option. Jeff Blake (is he even in the NFL now?), or any of the rookie's in the draft that year or Rob Johnson were the options. GW was a mistake--but it looks like ML in Cincinnati is not any better than GW. TD has made bad moves--news flash all GMs do. Look at Butler and his last draft with the team. We have talent on this team a team that has played the SB champs very tough in the last year including crushing them last year. Point being, teams without talent do not crush the SB champs. If you correct dumb plays the Bills are 2-1 or 3-0 this year and everybody is talking about a resuurection of the Bills. What bums me out is that I could see the Bills going like 9-7 and winning 6 of their last eight games and because of the awful start missing the playoffs....again
  13. Definitely good enough talent to win. If they play smarter they win--it is that simple
  14. Mike Williams completely dominated at the line of scrimmage
  15. Sure thing--prayers to you and your Grandma
  16. If you don't know who you are voting for by now and you need the debates to make up your mind are you qualified to vote anyway? How long has this process been???
  17. I don't think you are nuts. The Pats D is not as good as the Jaguars and from the NFL tells us the refs blew 12-17 points for us 2 weeks ago. The Bills and Pats should be two 2-0 teams playing this week, but obviously are not. The Pats are not an overpowering offense with WR screens and 5 yard outs. At home the Bills can play them very tough. It will be close I feel though, not 31-13. Let's say Bills win 24-17.
  18. I agree that PP would be better than Wire. He played the position for a year and a half as a starter and played better than Wire.
  19. Was he worth 7M a season????
  20. It is amazing how last year there were many posts about Milloy sucking. Now that he is gone you realize how good he is--he really came on the last half of the season and knows where he is supposed to be. The minute Milloy gets back the Bills are a much better defense. Our safeties now are weak. Wire is a great guy and special teams player, but that is it.
  21. Montreal didn't support the team and DC has the money and the people to do it! It is one of the most wealthy areas in the country and most populated. They will probably do quite well there--they will actually have some money now to go get some talent. It is too bad for Montreal, but it is just not a baseball town anymore. The strike in the mid-90s killed them. They would haver likely gone to the World Series that year. I think they had the best record in baseball, but the players apparently did not make enough of guaranteed money.
  22. Drew was an All-Pro QB. He simply is getting older and needs to adjust if he wants a starting job ever again after this season. He has to make quick decisions and let the ball go and use his experience and knowledge of the game. He's not going to throw 5 TDs a game like in Minnesota two years ago. He needs to be efficient and not turn the ball over. Once in awhile go deep because he still does have the arm. He is absolutely right when he states the Bills need to stop killing themselves with penalties. He is protected much better on third and 3-5 yards rather than 3rd and ten+. I see the Bills playing a very good game on Sunday. They've already faced a better defense in the Jaguars and should have put up 20 points on them. No TO and the Bills win
  23. I have seen some commentators call him Al Gore without the personality!
  24. Maybe we can hide our heads in the sand and they will go away. That policy worked real well when the Islamic extremist wackos were attacking our embassies and our Navy ships. I hate it too, but you have to confront them somehow. Ignoring the problem doesn't make it go away.
  25. I can't wait until the whole damn election is over
