He had the best game of any defender all season against the Jets. To be a truly "great" player he has to avoid stupid penalties. I agree with the poster who stated pass coverage out of a middle linebacker is pretty unrealistic. Lewis of Baltimore is probably the only middle linebacker in the league who does it very well.

Wow! What revealing news. The only other thing they failed to report is that it snows a lot in Buffalo!

I am a physician and don't know where you get this information. If you have proof that a physician prescribed a certain medication for a "kick-back" that is illegal. I have never known of a physician to do this, ever. I know docs who give out samples that pharmaceutical reps give them but they get nothing in return. The AMA, and every specialty board have something against a practice like that. The pharmaceutical industry and its issues are complex and I guarantee you Michael Moore will not even come close to addressing them fairly. Tufts University which does a nice analysis of medications and what it takes to bring them to market states it takes about $800M just to bring a drug to market--yes that's 800M! Do you know how much research, time, money and effort is spent on drugs that never even make it to market? Unfortunately we subsidize the rest of the world.

I'm sure Moore will present both sides evenly. Moore is a moron

Are we seeing Eric Moulds last season as a Bill?
Ray replied to Rudyc80's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why do so many on this board want to get rid of everyone? Every player apparently sucks and isn't worth the money. Let's get rid of our best player--that makes so much sense??????? -
Steve I agree with most of what you wrote. He has brought in good talent, and talented free agents when the Bills aren't exactly an exciting place to go in a lot of guys eyes. Milloy, Vincent, Fletcher, Spikes, Evans, re-signing Moulds, Losman, Sam Adams, etc not a bad team in terms of talent. Also, Big Mike is not a bust no matter what everyone wants to say. It's his third year and if you actually watch him this year he is starting to dominate and dominate a lot on running plays. He manhandled Ty Warren the Pats number 1 draft pick last year. He's opening up holes on his side of the line. Also, can anyone honestly tell me that they predicted Josh Reed would have the dropsies for two years. Tell me at the time of the draft you were upset that in the second round we got the WR named the best receiver in college football! Come on--20/20 hindsight is very nice but doesn't apply in real life. Otherwise I would tell you exactly what stocks to buy, who to date, and every other decision in your life. Donahoe has made mistakes like every other GM in this league, but he has also provided this team with talent.

Baltimore could easily lose to the Bills. I wouldn't be surprised if the Bills beat everyone in that sorry division this year.
-
Had Henry not stumbled on nothing and just gone through the huge hole on the right we wouldn't be talking about that awful play. Every time I think they come up with a way to self destruct they come up with another. I was actually thinking in the Jets game the hail mary would be in a Bills' receiver's hands...and he'd drop it in the endzone.

Is the NFL season over already??? I guess I didn't realize it was February already.

Ralph will fire Donahoe before end of season

What MM said is hardly controversial. Get another story -
Ralph will fire Donahoe before end of season

See how the season plays out--what if the Bills go 9-7??? Look at the schedule, the toughest part of it is over with the exception of games at NE and Seattle. Every other game is quite winnable as was every single game the Bills played this year. 0-4 to 4-0 is not that far off. -
Bombing a cave in Pakistan does not eliminate all terrorism. They are everywhere and were trained, funded, supported and given sanctuary in Iraq among other countries.

Too early to say on the draft. MW was rated the best OL in the country by half the "analysts" and the other half said Mckinnie was--either way everyone said they were both stud OL. Reed was awarded the best WR in college football. Not bad picks for a draft. MW has actually played well this year for the most part. He is a better run blocker than Mckinnie which was supposedly why we took him. Reed looked great as a rookie but mentally has regressed. Let's just see what happens the rest of the season. Any way you slice MW is our best OL period.

Yoho is right! We're much better than most think

JP Losman is our 1st round pick in the 2005 draft--'nuff said!
-
MW has been rolling over every DE he has been playing if you watch him. Ty Warren the Pats 1st round pick last year got creamed by Williams--absolutely lost that battle. Even conceded here in Boston that the Bills right side of the line decimated the Pats--except for Henry's stumbleitis. MW has played well--I know people want to bash him, but he is our best lineman

The Bills best players and most athletic/talented are Evans and Moulds. Bledsoe's one asset is a strong arm. I agree that the run game does not play to their strengths.

Even when the Bills scored their second touchdown
Ray replied to Toledo Bill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was excitied when they scored but knew the Jets would go down and score. I just felt they moved the ball way too easily the whole game and the D was not good enough to win the game. Sad, but that is how I felt. -
I see Losman as a better QB than Rothlisberger. Losman has great mobility and can do a lot more bootlegging roll-outs etc. The D has to respect his mobility a lot more, can get burned by the blitz if Losman esxapes. The OL is not that bad as everyone says. Jennings got beat three times yesterday, but the rest of the line did okay. The majority of sacks Bledsoe takes are from blitzes that are not picked up by backs or beat the TE not the OL. You can't expect the OL to block 7 when there is only 5 of them! Watch when Losman plays how the line becomes so much better like when Flutie replaced Johnson.

Wayne had his best day as a pro in three years! This defense is good not great! And they are weak when it counts like the final drives of a game, third and long etc... they just can't stop a team when it really counts. Oh, I forgot 1st and 35 they have trouble stopping as well!
-
They are not getting crushed like Miami and as bad as the Bills look sometimes they are a play or two a game from being 4-0. Yes they are still 0-4 but are closer to ending up 8-8 rather than 0-16!

Jonas Jennings is a free agent after the season
Ray replied to marck's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well, he just lost out on millions of dollars. When he is negotiating for 5-6M/year they only need to show him the tape of this game. Maybe they move MW to LT, I don't know. -
Because when it is time to make a defensive stop to win the game they have come up short in the three previous games and did again yesterday! They buckled again--they let the Jets easily march down the field for an easy FG. They blew the game. The offense left the field with the lead, the special teams did their job by kicking a touchback--first of the season I believe and then the defense choked!

The final question of the Debate
Ray replied to Rich in Ohio's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
He could have evened the playing field and asked Kerry the three biggest mistakes he made this year as well! It is a no win situation for Bush or any candidate for that matter to answer such a loaded question. -
I can see the Bills winning the next four games and the last 5 if you look at the schedule. They would miss the playoffs that way and it would be even more frustrating since we should at least be 2-2 right now.
