  1. You display an inordinate reaction over a simple, light hearted post added to an equally light hearted topic. Child - did somebody swipe your mop and bucket today?
  2. Here's something beyond a...tweet: http://www.bengals.com/news/article-1/Repo...2d-13e637af8742
  3. Must have been a real dust-up. He paid an eighty-dollar bond and walked out. CIN has 10 wrs to evaluate - doubtful he was going to make the cut. IIRC, he's been hanging around for 2 years, cut, signed, cut, signed etc.
  4. Both. Click on the "Stars and Stripes" link in my sig line. It will pep you up and get your feet a tappin' and arms a wavin'.
  5. Go ahead and give it a try...let us know how it works out. http://www.wcpo.com/news/local/story/Spoke...IYA5bRFDwA.cspx
  6. YES - every little service thing you pay for results in an outstretched hand for a tip. If you don't - watch out. Visit a NJ graveyard. Skeleton arms poke up with an outstretched palm everywhere, demanding cash. Are there any self-serve gas stations in NJ...yet?
  7. How long have you been in the pro athlete business agent biz?
  8. That's right - the first bite might be ok, but the rest could be crap. I dislike this practice of having waiters or waitresses that say "Hi! I'm xxxx and I'll be your server!" Goody... And also, when you ask something, a fairly common response is "No problem!" When I hear that, I reply "Did you expect a problem? Is there something wrong with this food?" They are stunned into silence.
  9. I've never had a Starbucks coffee. Being of an age, the thought of paying their prices for a cup 'o joe just...offends my sensibilities. And I like coffee black - I like the taste of coffee as is. If I want a sugar and fat bomb, I'll buy a milkshake instead. A couple of years ago, an older poster in one of the recurring beef and weck threads said that he could get one in his area...for something like 8 bucks. He balked - perfectly understandable to me.
  10. A small senior coffee at McD is 50 cents.
  11. You would very much enjoy it.
  12. If you watched it previously - new "Foyle's War" series w/ M. Kitchen on PBS - 1st episode was this past Sunday.
  13. Please... "Marvin Lewis said that the team has talked with the agent for Adam “Pacman” Jones but that is the extent of it. During a radio interview on Friday, Jones said that the Bengals are one of four teams that he is talking to about signing. Jones was here for a workout on Feb. 11 and held an open workout in New Orleans for teams in March."... ...Lions, Packers and Jaguars. Detroit remains the favorite to sign Jones since it would reunite him with Jim Schwartz, who was his former defensive coordinator in Tennessee."... http://cincinnati.com/blogs/bengals/2010/0...-pacmans-agent/ Can't you understand that Jones and his ten-percenter are beating their own drums in hope that somebody will bite? At the least, you might have used DET in your topic title instead of CIN...
  14. Also: Folks also say "Kewpons", instead of coupons. But the Kewpon people somehow, never say this: "I drove my Cadillac Kewp de Ville, to look at a Mercury Kewger for buy for my daughter." Ah well - regional dialect...patois (pronounced pattyose in western PA).
  15. I don't. Your avatar - looks like some Stoner conversion parts. No?
  16. Let's recap: I said I smelled a rat. You assume I was referring to Democrats. You make a demeaning comment. I add a current news item - with background for context. Included a smiley... " ". Another comment.
  17. More fuel for the fire: Big Ten's growth may seal UC's fate Expansion puts Big East at risk By Bill Koch Cincinnati Enquirer May 3, 2010 http://news.cincinnati.com/article/2010050...trols+UC+s+fate
  18. Here...have another helping. 2004: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,141048,00.html 2010: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/conte...0042904700.html
  19. Let's see...a SUV, parked illegally, with its' motor running and its' flashers on. The vehicle is loaded with forensic evidence. A 40ish white male seen leaving, who removes some clothing to reveal a red shirt. Sure...let's be more obvious, will we? I watched ABC news just a while ago. They were chuntering on about how the police cordoned things off so well. Then they showed footage of a wheeled robot with an arm approaching the side windows - with pedestrians strolling by. I smell a rat.
  20. I remember reading (csbsportsline IIRC), that they yielded 5.6 ypc on 3rd down. Ouch.
