  1. I've been trying to sell him to the Bills for the past few years. He no longer carries the 3rd round pick penalty. They activated him late in the season, but he couldn't go...but so far, there have been zero reports that he won't come back full strength. Speed, size, moves...what's not to like? And it seems that is attitude problems are behind...
  2. belinda.
  3. Indeed. Their usefulness would be short-lived.
  4. That Tug Hill plateau info was new to me, too...came across it when I was looking for stories about this snow.
  5. I advise keeping a distance from anyone with a tatoo that reads "88" or "RaHoWa". Like the old "13" tatoos - M, the 13th letter, standing for marihuana - "88" is HH...Heil Hitler. "RaHoWa" means "Racial Holy War". Aryan Nation signs...
  6. I'd say so. The line of teams wanting an all-purpose back to carry a full-time load winds around the block.
  7. 5 Wide, not everybody did. Several folks expressed the idea that they should have had someone on the bench who was good enough to press Brown for playing time before dumping him, whatever warts Brown had.
  8. Evidently, not so for the Tug Hill plateau of NYS... http://www.syracuse.com/weather/snow/stori...za-tughill.html
  9. Wow... "Special Weather Statement SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE BUFFALO NY 744 AM EST THU FEB 8 2007 NYZ006>008-082045- OSWEGO-JEFFERSON-LEWIS- INCLUDING THE CITIES OF...OSWEGO...WATERTOWN...LOWVILLE 744 AM EST THU FEB 8 2007 ...EPIC LAKE SNOWS WILL CONTINUE EAST OF LAKE ONTARIO... THE INTENSE BAND OF SNOW OFF LAKE ONTARIO IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE TO HIT OSWEGO COUNTY VERY HARD THROUGH 11 AM. THE SNOW IS EXPECTED TO FALL AT A RATE OF 2 TO 4 INCHES PER HOUR IN THE HEART AND MOST INTENSE PORTION OF THE BAND. THE MOST INTENSE PORTION OF THE LAKE BAND WILL MAINTAIN ITSELF ACROSS THE SOUTHERN HALF OF OSWEGO COUNTY...MAINLY ALONG AND SOUTH OF A PULASKI TO REDFIELD LINE WITH THE HEAVIEST SNOWS FALLING AROUND THE PARISH...MEXICO AND OSWEGO AREAS. THESE AREAS COULD PICK UP ANOTHER FOOT OR MORE OF SNOW THROUGH 11 AM. THE COMBINATION OF SNOW AND WEST WINDS GUSTING OVER 25 MPH WILL CONTINUE TO PRODUCE FREQUENT WHITEOUTS AND VERY TREACHEROUS DRIVING CONDITIONS...ESPECIALLY ON NORTH TO SOUTH HIGHWAYS SUCH AS INTERSTATE 81 AND ROUTES 11 AND 3. SOME ROADS WILL LIKELY BE IMPASSABLE. SOME AREAS HAVE ALREADY EXCEEDED 70 INCHES...OR NEARLY 6 FEET OVER THE PAST THREE DAYS OR SO. THE LAKE SNOWS WILL CONTINUE TO PILE UP OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. $$ TMA"
  10. My siblings chided me plenty. But crafty me baked and ate, while they had...none.
  11. Why? Evidently she or her mouthpeice is saying that they don't want to stop for "security reasons". We are talking about U.A.S.F. planes...which don't normally stop at O'Hare Airport to refuel. I believe U.S.A.F. bases are "secure" refueling sites. No delays, either...
  12. Happy B'day, EC !
  13. I don't think they're giving up on Charlie Frye just quite yet. You have to put the CLE QBs in some context since their rebirth for the 1999 season. In those 8 seasons, that unlucky club suffered through more than 100 players on I.R. Including top draft choices, a boatload of OLs, DBs etc. Who knows how he'll do in the pros, but OSU QB Troy Smith is from that area and has done a bit of lobbying.
  14. I wonder if calls were down, league-wide. The impression I got this year was that they were calling less holding - they certainly want to keep the game time within the alloted tv slots.
  15. They were poor substitutes for the Betty Crocker Bake Sets of the '50's and '60's anyway. Betty's stuff had 4 cake mixes, pie crust, brownie mix, muffin mix (I think), frosting mixes etc., with the needed small size aluminum pans and a cookbook. Far superior to light bulb fare...
  16. Congrats on the new job! Grand Cherokee is a nice model...brake assist for the antilock brakes and antiskid standard. If you are considering the 4WD version, the base Laredo (which is well-equipped), be sure if you opt for the 3.7 L motor, to get the Quadra-Trac II option with the 2-speed transfer case. Side airbags are standard for '07. Here's Consumer Guide's test of the GC: http://consumerguideauto.howstuffworks.com...-cherokee-6.htm
  17. Wonder why they made a change?...Green and Huard did well enough with their offense.
  18. I'd choose Kenny Stabler.
  19. Good...you've not posted in a bit. Hope your truck is doing ok, as well as the dog.
  20. I still champion ASCII text. RTF if pushed... And vector graphics and their small file size.
  21. How many words does it take to use up 5 Mb?
  22. No sarcasm was intended - I don't understand what made you think so. I was making an observation. It's heartening to know that sound engineers can improve outdoor sound. How that comes across in a tv broadcast, I don't know. A symphony orchestra in a building designed with them in mind loses something when it's sound gets put out over a television.
  23. Please let us know what happens!
  24. Recycling names is commonplace. As is using the same name for a radically different construction. The "500" is a legacy of when Ford - like many manufacturers - only offered 1 model. Toyota transferred the Celica name through several RWD platforms and used it for the FWD platform. Pontiac once stuck the LeMans name on a '80's Daewoo. The 203 hp 3.0 L V-6 is not a barn-burner, but does offer adequate acceleration. Where will you use more in 65 mph America? Drag racing for a good number of years has been deemed more horrible than first degree assault & battery. No wonder youth are angry - stuck with FWD rides. Ugh.
