  1. Thanks..I do value your comments.
  2. 33 solo tackles and 20 assists are decent numbers for a starting DT. I don't get to see the games. But unless he was getting rag-dolled routinely between his credited tackles/assists and was flat-out ineffectual in pressuring the pocket, I'd say he had a nice rookie season.
  3. A foul blot, I am. I'm itching for a fight on the general subject of dumping of ones whelp. Maybe not tonight. But soon.
  4. That shill needs to re-tune his radar. Most every team has a crop of 3rd round and lower '04 draftees that are good players - or starters - that are out there for tenders.
  5. No more cheap coal electricity for you. Your California betters have so decreed.
  6. I knew you'd come around and see sense...
  7. Anyone who can get a million-plus per year doing a fun thing like being the GM of a sports gig hasn't made a mistake.
  8. No room in your heart for redemption?
  9. That's sad news. IIRC, Bentley decided to sign with the Browns because that was his home town more or less. Everybody appreciates that feeling. Hope he heals up and can get back in the game.
  10. It's unlikely the B'gals will retain the services of 2005 2nd rounder MLB Odell Thurman (an undisclosed substance use offense and 4 game suspension, then a 2nd offense..DUI...at a checkpoint that his lady cell-phoned him to avoid 2 hours before (!)...so, a season-long suspension...with zero pay). He didn't show up for the first days of '06 training camp. To which when asked , Coach Lewis replied "Odell who?". He hit it big out of the gate in his '05 rookie season - 5 picks, 4 forced fumbles, a real blitzing force, hard tackler, fine pass coverage. Wasn't bad, for a rookie, at recognizing offensive sets although old pro Brian Simmons made most of the positioning callls. His play successes tapered off as the season wore on, his free-wheeling got found out, as he kept looking for the big play while opponents whizzed by him. He did continue being a hard hitter. Perhaps a year without $$$ has wised him up...perhaps. My guess is that CIN will keep him until the last moment as trade bait. They might keep him if no takers, certainly... But if he gets cut outright, do you think the Bills might be a suitor?
  11. Unlike Onan, ieatcrayonz saves his seed so it's a birthday every day.
  12. Yep. And I've always wondered why the NFL has never come down on them for their clipping, crack-back OL play through many years. You would think other team owners would raise a fuss...but I suppose, as long as the $$$ continues to rise, a player here and there being crippled is a mere trifle...
  13. No. I was a child with 4 siblings with a Father who died young. Do you imply that I know nothing about children, or being one? If so, that would be like thinking that if one's arm is gashed, one should not stanch it...not being a medical doctor...
  14. Be responsible parents and stop dumping off an infant into "Drop-A-Tot" venues?
  15. I'd certainly think hard before letting Kelsey go...the Bills went a good while without decent DE play.
  16. I don't, and have never worked, at a biochemical plant. Auto manufacturing - yes. Non-biochemical pharmaceuticals - yes. Dialkydithiophosphates and their ugly cousins - yes.
  17. First thing I would do is get exemplary linebackers.
  18. I hear they make paint for Wal-Mart.
  19. Did he get the recall notice about its bad ball joints yet?
  20. Other teams are in the same boat year after year, but muddle through. Life with free agency...
  21. They're cancelling something like 1/4 of their flights today to regroup. Because of the previous weather difficulties, their planes are scattered and pilots have reached their FAA flight time maximums. That happened to ComAir two years ago because of disasterous weather just before Christmas.
