  1. That makes good sense, if they indeed want to move WMG.
  2. Betts is jumping ship because Dockery has left the building.
  3. Hmmm...I thought he signed a 5 year deal. That's a good bit of time for a player.
  4. Does anyone know if the Bills contemplate renegotiation with Peters?
  5. "Bengals lose 2, keep 1 Steinbach, Wilkins move on, but team gives Watson 3-year deal BY MARK CURNUTTE | MCURNUTTE@ENQUIRER.COM 03/03/07 ...Steinbach, one of the top unrestricted free agents on the market, agreed to terms on a seven-year, $49.5 million contract with AFC North division rival Cleveland. The Bengals were resigned to losing Steinbach, a versatile lineman who started 62 games the past four seasons. Steinbach will receive $17 million in guaranteed money and $23 million over the first three seasons with the Browns. His numbers better those garnered by left guard Steve Hutchinson in Minnesota last year."... http://news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.dll/art.../703030352/1066
  6. Don't post your personal proclivities here.
  7. Sure - you can always talk terms with a player under contract.
  8. You're being harsh. I've no doubt they are trying. The thin and surprising - margin of loss in this or that game last season was something few could have anticipated. The home town team here in cincy - a bunch of injuries - but they still had offensive power and absolutely got their behinds tanned numerous times. I'm a critic of some of their moves. And some of the drafting. And some of their plans, such as one can discern them. I think they've turned a corner. It might not work out, sure....or it might. No sense saying squat about them if one thinks there is nothing slightest positive... Let things play out...
  9. Why isn't WAS trying to keep him? I can understand if it's a money thing, an intractable personality clash, or if they have a phenom in the wings, - but canning a 61-game starter seems odd...who tosses effective guards into the ditch?
  10. I suppose it's possible that PtP is one of the numerous multiple personalities that pepper this site. "Sybil" is more than just a movie...
  11. I recommend a wooden bat instead of aluminum. Things that smack with tradition are better.
  12. I'm not going to fling mud at ROCCEO, a fellow 14216 native.
  13. One of the chains - Office Depot, Office Max - I forget which one - for a long time said that they will give you a free ream of paper for each toner cartridge you bring in.
  14. Own the company. The latest word is that he buys those "carbon offsets" he ballyhooed in defense of his energy gobbling, from a company that he owns.
  15. Interesting. I don't blame any team for taking a look at him.
  16. You sure did hit that nail squarely!...
  17. True - but sometimes it has to come down to the dollars and cents. The b'gals released a decent LB - Brian Simmons (and a heck of a decent man). But they've publicly stated that they want to re-sign several of their FA's, so Simmons was cut to provide the cash - or so they say. Perhaps it will turn out to be a bad move on their part. The Bills like the b'gals are a small market club, so I would understand it if they cut TKO.
  18. I know...it doesn't make any sense.
  19. May well be. I still hope they can see a way to draft a couple of OL's - always have to try to stock the larder. Maybe they'll wangle an extra pick or two before or during the draft.
  20. I'd guess they will stick with Royal, too. Reggie Kelly is a decent player. Fair enough hands and moves, not a killer blocker when on the line. He doesn't get a lot of throws - TE isn't much of a part of the Cincy game plan. He generally serves as an H-back, and does block well in that capacity. Kelly was the player that ATL drafted just before the Bills drafted Peerless Price.
  21. Interesting.
  22. ...Marv can draft six db's !
