  1. Ask him about his alliance with Teddy Kennedy to fight tooth and nail against cleaning up their PCBs in the Hudson River.
  2. They didn't win that Mega Millions drawing?
  3. Promises, promises...all day long.
  4. Didn't Chaucer say that?
  5. Some feel that McGee isn't a very good CB.
  6. Check out Terrance McGee's college scouting reports. He was praised as a safety...and panned for the 1 year he filled in as cornerback. He was also lauded for his kick return skills. And the regime then didn't use him as a KR until his 2nd year.
  7. "BRONCOS: The Broncos have heard Dre' Bly is bitter about being traded to Denver and that he'd prefer to play for Washington. The team wants to give its new cornerback some time to warm up to the deal. It's been a few days since Bly was acquired from Detroit - along with a sixth-round pick - for running back Tatum Bell, offensive lineman George Foster and a fifth-round pick. "Hopefully he'll see the light," said Jim Bates, assistant head coach in charge of defense, at a Tuesday get-together for the Broncos' new coaches. "He'll see the opportunity in Denver of being part of a great football team, great organization and being opposite the side of Champ Bailey. Hopefully he'll come around and say, 'Hey, this is where I want to be.' " Bates hasn't spoken to Bly personally but said others, including coach Mike Shanahan and general manager Ted Sundquist, have contacted him. Bly's agent, Kennard McGuire, didn't return a call or an e-mail from the Associated Press." http://news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.dll/art...0354/1067/SPT02
  8. Isn't he a hit man for the Corleone family?
  9. Perhaps if you get to know him better... ..."Porter's actions off the field have caused trouble. He was fined $10,000 by the NFL last season after he referred to Cleveland tight end Kellen Winslow by using a derogatory term for homosexuals. Earlier in the season, he was fined $15,000 for inappropriate remarks to an official in Oakland. Last September, his pit bull and mastiff dogs escaped his property in Richland Township, Pa., and killed a miniature horse nearby. During 2004, Porter was ejected before a game in Cleveland when he punched Browns running back William Green in the mouth during warmups. In 2003, he was shot in the buttocks and thigh in Denver, causing him to miss the first two games of the season. At one of the games Porter missed, he reportedly confronted Baltimore linebacker Ray Lewis in the parking lot."... http://news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.dll/art...0354/1067/SPT02
  10. Do you plan an avatar change as well?
  11. Noel Simon Bob Fosse Oscar Wilde Geo. Bernard Shaw etc.
  12. Yes...pretty nice, how they added other instruments as the pipers marched forward.
  13. An agonizing, agonizing 20 second task...
  14. Saw it this past Saturday. It's about William Wilberforce and his years of tireless effort - ultimately successful - and the long support of William Pitt, to end the legality of slavery across the British Empire.
  15. No. I'd look spiffy if I had the threat of Manning/Harrison/Wayne backing me up.
  16. Dunno. Their public claims are more or less poverty. The justification for canning LB Simmons was to free up cash for signing their various FA's, and a hefty hit if they re-sign the franchise-tagged DE Justin Smith. Like IND, they have a gazillion bucks tied up in their qb - much of it guaranteed. I don't know what IND's dollar commitment to their OL and their WRs is - but those take a big chunk out of the B'gals salary money (as well it should). The financial hit to them if Palmer goes down for the count would be massive. So they stock up on OL and WR talent. Their OL bench could start for many clubs.
  17. Yep! But you know what I mean...a team crying wolf and then opening up the pocketbook. Contrast the Bill's activity to that of the other club that voted against the new CBA. Wassup?
  18. But everybody claims that the RB danced and didn't hit the presented hole. If Reyes indeed was a good pass protector - a coveted skill - I'd think twice about canning him.
  19. They are cap-poor. I'd guess they will use their $$$ set aside in the draft pick pool.
  20. Basic English sentences include a predicate, as in "I couldn't remember three, out of the 50 States."...
  21. Well, they never whined about small market status then signed 75 million bucks worth of OL's. There's that...
  22. You replied, in millbanks' topic -"I couldn't remember three". What was one to think?
  23. Wow. That was a quick swipe of TIPSTER19's post...
