  1. Really? http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?act=S...ite=Joey+Porter
  2. Ugh. Peterson's acquisition would be a marketing ploy. Spiffy new RBs increase the gate. It's an old technique.
  3. Yes...The Blue Cube Group.
  4. Sit corrected. With 290 posts, don't stand unless asked...
  5. "Sucks to your assmar.".
  6. Embiggenment Becomes You. Congrats, gringo!...you bring good wit and humor.
  7. How long did they extend him? Do we have to refer him as Eli "Wad" Manning now?
  8. That's a fair comment. Still, a fellow who seems to have decent understanding of line play can pay dividends as they get some NFL games under their belt. And can help the general bench strength. It's not just a case of I'm strong and I'm big, therefore I am good. You aren't getting into a Battle of The Titans every play...a good angle, good position, quickly executed, is useful.
  9. Solid pick - late 3rd, early 4th. I see similarities to Eric Ghiaciuc - Central Michigan, #4 CIN selection 2005. I think Datish is more polished, though. http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?act=S...ite=Doug+Datish
  10. Maybe he shops at the same place as Barry Bonds and Jose Canseco.
  11. It requires a $500 fee to join.
  12. You're up to the knees in the bisque, son...
  13. A poster a while back used the term, and thus it entered the TSW lexicon.
  14. I fondly recall the 2nd year the Pens had Lemieux. They required multiple ticket purchases if you wanted to see Mario L. vs. any top team (maybe that was the onset of such tactics). Fans who supported the moribund club for years - season ticket holders who belonged to the so-called "Igloo Club" were informed that their season seats, sitting next to their friends - could no longer be assured. Go Pens.
  15. He would be drafted by an NBA team.
  16. Let's see...not a Granny Smith...hardly a McIntosh...hmm...maybe a Gala?
  17. With rocket surgery, all things are possible!
  18. Oklahoma's Rufus Alexander is worth a look.
  19. Tons of good ones...Dallas' Chuck Howley and Lee Roy Jordan, Philly's Chuck Bednarick and Maxie Baughan...28 Pro Bowls among that bunch.
  20. Perhaps they visit TSW, and have learned that in the local flavor of Cover 2, safties mean everything and off-Broadway, grade "B" CB's are perfectly adequate.
  21. Seems to make DET more of a long shot for a 1st round RB pick. The Browns certainly have been spending a lot of $$$... "AROUND THE LEAGUE BROWNS: Robaire Smith, 29, signed a four-year contract. The defensive line was one of the Browns' biggest concerns this offseason, and both Robaire and Shaun Smith fit the team's 3-4 defense. Robaire Smith probably will be used as an end opposite Orpheus Roye and could move inside to tackle on passing downs. Shaun Smith probably will play nose tackle. Smith has played seven seasons with Tennessee and Houston and started 44 games the last three seasons. He has recorded 446 tackles and 17 sacks in 97 games over his career and played both end and tackle. Smith, 6-4, 314 pounds, was a sixth-round choice by Tennessee out of Michigan State in 2000. He signed with Houston after four seasons and set career highs with 100 tackles in 2004 and 102 tackles in 2005. He started only 12 games after returning to Tennessee last season, and his tackles dropped to 76 with just half a sack. LIONS: Free agent running back T.J. Duckett signed a one-year contract with Detroit. The 6-foot, 254-pound Duckett played last season with Washington after four years with the Atlanta Falcons. He had just 38 carries all season for Washington." Bengals allow Smith to leave The Bengals declined to match the offer made by the Cleveland Browns to defensive tackle Shaun Smith. Smith was one of Cincinnati's restricted free agents. He played in 13 games last season, with 14 tackles and a pass broken up. He was inactive for the final three games. Cleveland's offer sheet reportedly is a multiyear contract worth about $8 million." http://news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.dll/art.../703170364/1066
  22. ABC News 03/17/07 "WASHINGTON Mar 17, 2007 (AP)— A major manufacturer of pet foods sold throughout North America under dozens of store names is recalling millions of containers of its products while working to determine what caused kidney failure and some deaths of cats and dogs. Menu Foods said Saturday it is recalling dog food sold under 46 brands and cat food sold under 37 brands and distributed throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. The pet foods were sold by major retailers, including Wal-Mart, Kroger and Safeway. A complete list of the recalled products along with product codes, descriptions and production dates is available from the Menu Foods website, http://www.menufoods.com/recall. Consumers with questions can also call (866) 895-2708. "At this juncture, we're not 100 percent sure what's happened," said Paul Henderson, the company's president and chief executive officer. However, the recalled products were made using wheat gluten purchased from a new supplier, since dropped for another source, spokeswoman Sarah Tuite said. Wheat gluten is a source of protein.
