Meanwhile in the rest of the world
stuckincincy replied to /dev/null's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Bunk. Untold billions have been tossed to the Palestinians...for decades. It gets pocketed and stolen by their own. They streamed into Lebanon and ruined that beautiful nation. Before that, Jordan had the stones to crush their hate and not let them in and kill their society. Since 2007, when Hamas bludgeoned their way in, over 6,500 rockets have been launched at Israel. Sniping is a daily occurrence. There are thousands of Israelis living in agony with poisoned screws, nails and the like embedded in their bodies. Israel turned a desert into a place of prosperity. The Palestinian "leaders" and their pals have always chosen poverty and virtual slavery for their people, and foster hatred and murder at every turn. -
A Buffalo chicken wing inspired burger recipe

A tip from the tv cook, Bobby Flay: Take the back of a teaspoon - or your knuckle - and make a depression in the middle of the patty. He said it stops the middle swelling of the burger, that folks tend to squish down and lose some juices. He was 100% correct - works like a charm! -
Study: Marijuana has no effect on driving skills
stuckincincy replied to Fingon's topic in Off the Wall Archives
It's enough - a tale told a thousand times...like anything that tries to justify that mentally-modifying drugs add much to society. I know that drugs are fun...and also that history tells us that intoxicants often end up with us ending living a life full of problems. Enjoy at your risk... And the level of crap, useless research paid for and extracted out of your and my livelihood is - stunning. -

What child got his/her thesis awarded, what grant contractor pocketed a million bucks+ for this one? -
I agree, Dean. Whatever OS, user behavior is a big factor IMO. I freely admit to paranoia - HW, SW firewall, real time and non-real time avs and malware progs, cleaners, no stored passwords, a constant disk cleaning, any info with a whiff of personal info on removable media only invoked off-line, almost-universal hardwire connection (I use a strongly-protected WAP2 63 random character ASCII wireless connection very rarely - just to see if it still works), cookies allowed only at my choosing, monthly defrag and chkdsk etc, wariness about visited sites and so on. I'm comfortable with xp - the devil I know. There is no end of good advice out there...you and others here have given me valuable tips through the years.

Hardy will be the #2 WR

http://www.nfl.com/draft/history/fulldraft...p;type=position The '08 2nd rnd wrs - looks like its' been a 50-50 coin flip bunch so far. BUF is in the same boat as several other clubs, paying 2nd round money without much production to show for it so far. The BUF staff, as well as some others, are going to face some tough decisions come final cut time. -

So true. I got hit with a bug 6 months or so ago, a rare occurrence for me - thankfully. It tunneled into the restore files - running MB in safe mode was required to eradicate it.

Chad Ochocinco is at it again...
stuckincincy replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
AFAIK, he doesn't drink or smoke. He seems to have returned to "normal". As a poster here mentioned, he did have a period of short-arming, and running bad routes...that was when he wanted to be traded and CIN said no. One thing for sure - he's always been fearless. I've seen him take hellacious hits through his career - here's one from last season, week#5 against BAL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H4KZnxHFrVk -
Anyone recollect why the name was changed from Decoration Day, in the early '70's? Do the AmVets etc. still sell lapel poppies? - I haven't seen that for years

I thought Promo the Bills' PR Flack was pretty funny. Nothing wrong with that - glad he does it. I woulda typed Promo the UB PR Flack, though.

Follow-up... Programs > Accessories > System Tools. Run Disk Cleanup and Disk Defragmenter for all hard drives. Then invoke My Computer > Properties > Tools. Schedule CHKDSK with the fix problems and bad sectors boxes checked for all drives upon your next powering on. It will take a good while. If you have a laptop, make sure it's elevated somehow, so it gets good air circulation and cooling. And plug the charger in.

Add in some more woes there. While BUF works on their 3-4, they have to deal with the other 3 AFCE tams that have experience with a 3-4. Then add into into the pot, that they are scheduled to square off against the AFCN - three in that div. are 3-4 clubs, so have ideas about to game plan there on both sides of the ball. And toss in cbs playing back, safteys playing up with the apparent demise of using a Cover 2 scheme as a base scheme the past few seasons. Were I calling shots against them I'd be giving them a steady diet of the so-called unbaanced line - six OLs. There is the li that the competitors will be having them facing 3rd and 1 or 2 all game long. This change to a 3-4 is right up there with last years' no-huddle debacle. No-huddle, with an iffy OL, and the who knows who plays qb stuff. Gawd...

Holy Crap, this team wasn't doing Squats?!?!?!!?

You have shared much with us through the years and added humanity in good measure to the board. It is appreciated. I do hope things are going well. It's unfortunate that someone would read a benign topic about exercise regimens and then decide somehow to unleash a personal attack. -
Only a measly hundred million dollars? The U.S. Congress farts in your general direction!

Per PFT, Lendale White to be released
stuckincincy replied to clearwater cadet's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Merely a guess fueled by the cutting of Lendale - if it is so that they saw a suspension looming. Personally, I'm in favor of keeping Lynch. They have to see if Spiller is going to be the real deal, ready to carry some of the load in the coming season. Also, training camp injuries happen around the league. If could happen to Jackson, Spiller or Lynch. And as many mention, some other team might suddenly get hungry for a rb. BUF seems bent on implementing a number of changes. I'm inclined not to add the current rb situation to that. Lynch doesn't seem to be helping much - but eh, a 24 year-old with a lot of jingle in the pocket. That combo can and does make folks be a jerk at times.
